Who won what, Tuesday 26th October - PKRPar wins his 3rd Main Event of 2021.

Morning.

A 7 minute service interruption affected traffic in mid-evening MTT's last night but that apart traffic was at normal levels. The problem was upstream & affected all SB&G Products, though that's not much consolation if you were affected & suffered frustration. Still it was good to see (almost) everyone was patient & understanding.

Two sports tales today. A group of Rugby League players are suing the game for negligence claiming they have suffered long term brain damage due to repeated concussions. That's one big can of worms about to open, & we are already seeing it in RU & Football. Plenty more sports will chase that ambulance.

In ladies football, England women won 10-0 away to Latvia. They had 58 shots & 24 corners. Latvia had nil in each case. England possession was 78%. In their last 4 games England women have scored (8+10+4+10) 32 times without conceding a single goal. Competitive it is not. It's not just England Women, many other similar teams, male & female - are flying all over the world to play these uncompetitive games. Meanwhile, we are being lectured daily by politicians & environmentalists about our carbon footprint & we should cut down on flying to Spain for our hollibobs. It's about time they started lecturing World's various sport's bodies about it. Start with F1.

    £5,000 Gold Rush (£5,670)

    This was tremendous fun, & at one point it looked like the endearingly popular Sam, aka @IVIystical would get it won, but the wheels came off a bit (he finished 4th) and it was @PKRPar who came though to **** victory. It would be unreasonable to suggest PKRPar is endearing popular, or even mildly so, but he does have at least two admirers, himself included. More seriously, a great win, well done Craig. It's at least his third Main Event win in 2021, two in Gold Rush & one in Sharpshooter. At this rate he may soon be eligible to join Team Bigboy.

    Runner-up was Sharksbite, her 2nd Final in 24 hours. Way back in 2009 she was the 4th most profitable MTT-er on Sky Poker, and it's great to see she still has game.

    £1,500 Mini Gold Rush (£1,935)

    @loosecamel needs to watch out, he has a rival retromingent, as the Mini was won by TheCats86, who took down a Reload a month or two back.

    At one stage it looked like the FTJ was under threat, as Main Event winner @PKRPar was in very good shape, but it proved a comp too far & he had to settle for 12th in the Mini. Even so, not a bad effort by Dour Bloke.

    @TheCats86 3870000 1 £244.29 + £50.93 Head Prizes 7

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,000)

    Theone23 is an alias my mind can't process until I break it down into "The One". Aside from that utterly fascinating insight, Theone is fairly new but this was their 3rd win in short order, Mega twice and a Mini Marksman. Clearly quite useful, & theone to keep an eye on.

    SAXONTOM just keeps improving, & narrowly failed to win Mega for the 2nd time in the last few nights. Ran 5th in Turbo later in the evening too.

    @Theone23 500000 1 £185 + £123.89 Head Prizes 7

    @SAXONTOM 0 2 £110 + £24.38 Head Prizes 3

    £5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£5,200)

    The Sharky graph of PRHack93 is an absolute peach, & he added another £1,460 last night by way of a keenly contested Summit win.

    Never easy to beat peiratis but he had to settle for 2nd, with 3rd placed ozzy1194 oiling the chat box wheels in impressive fashion.

    We rarely see karlluke in Summit, maybe she won a satellite, but 4th was a very solid result for Tina.

    Dog Bloke could only manage 5th but got the consolation of three head prizes.

    @PRhack93 260000 1 £962 + £499.40 Head Prizes 4

    @peiratis88 0 2 £572 + £435.94 Head Prizes 8

    @ozzy1994 0 3 £390 + £181.04 Head Prizes 3

    @karlluke 0 4 £286 0

    @rspca12 0 5 £208 + £131.25 Head Prizes 3

    @leez 0 6 £182 + £274.23 Head Prizes 6

    We are used to seeing Crushy win the big stuff, but he's not proud a does not winning the occasional £3 quid affair.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Tedson is one of the highest rated MTT players on the site - Sharky have him at 97 - and he's probably disappointed to only win Turbo, he would have been hoping to take the Summit. For most of us a Turbo win would be the height of our ambitions. It's all relative I suppose.

    2nd was CABBAGE130, who FT'd Reload on Monday, and there was yet another FT for snoxx11, who we discussed yesterday.

    @Tedson 240000 1 £288.60 + £225.83 Head Prizes 8

    @CABBAGE130 0 2 £171.60 + £107.76 Head Prizes 8

    @SAXONTOM 0 5 £62.40 + £51.33 Head Prizes 4

    Last night's brief outage was bad for the players, but has increased the Forum post count enormously. I certainly don't hope for any more outages or issues, but I'd certainly do anything to increase the Forum post count.

    Suggestions welcome.

    Time to repeat a Johnny Cash number that really moves along beautifully. Years ago we'd call this a toe-tapper, now we have to say it's a banger or some such. Kids, pfft.

    Who plays poker when the football team you named yourself after are playing in an important derby match? Absolutely pathetic behaviour.
