Easily the most eye-opening result of the night, as hhammerhea takes the £55 entry Sheriff. He's a MML stalwart & does very well at stakes of up to £5, but I've never noticed him playing this big before, except for the very occasional £20 affair. As far as I can see, he never won a satellite either. Anyway, no arguments, Jon won Sheriff & he must be delighted.
Rankers was 3rd, & Danyo0 4th.
In 5th was Mr Channing, that's two days running he's been 5th in Sheriff, though at least he took a couple of Head Prizes this time. In yesterday's thread I alluded to the fact that he's is a TV News freak, & watches it more than anyone I know. Well he came on thread & admitted that he welled up when watching Jon Snow on his final appearance on Channel 4 News after half a lifetime presenting it. Laura Kuenssberg is due to retire from her current role very shortly, & I'm sure he'll be equally sad at her departure, right Neil?
