.........and after all this going on & on & on .....leave it as it is, 'coz the numbers will come back very soon, when the weather changes and the nights start 'drawing in'
Just played in one at 4.30, Mr two short. Now please dont go thinking that I am looking to prove a point. I have already done that. I am going to take you through it. It was a £5.20 sat. The same as Sundays. It was a beautiful day. This may imply a weather warning. Only one seat guaranteed. No two seat guarantee to incentivise the players, and have them all saying. "Gor blimey, I cant believe it, what good value for money this is, to be sure" Three runners when we kicked off. Yet we ended up with 11. I, unlike you, provide proof of stuff like this, and there it is below. Please note that I have provided this proof despite it being evidence of how badly I performed. So one seat, beautiful weather, and still 11 runners. Cancelled with a 2 seat guarantee.

........ but how do you know that if there had been two seats guaranteed, someone else might have recognized what good value you were getting, especially if you flipped it before serial late reg'ers arrived?
How many joined after you had already gone out?
Trouble is, if we all were late reg'ers, the sat's would never go ahead
See you Sunday
p.s. How many sat's cancelled earlier?
People on SKYPoker undoubtedly prefer Bounty Hunters, so the BWBH is likely to be a more popular tourney for sat. players

And if my Auntie had b0ll0cks?
Blimey you are struggling now. Firstly the 8 players that late registered in the one I played, presumably saw the value without the second seat being guaranteed. Although the last couple would have seen that there were going to be two seats on offer. As far as your fantasy scenario above is concerned, All four players would have had to agree to flip. Sky lose money on every flip, and dont want them.
How many joined after you had already gone out?
Havent a clue. Any relevance?

Blindingly obvious.
See you Sunday
You will.
p.s. How many sat's cancelled earlier?
Havent a clue. I only played one. I didnt look at any others. Not sure why this would be relevant?

I cant believe you posted all this. Whatever the players on Sky prefer, the Sunday Major has the biggest guarantee of any tourney on Sky. There are three £110 buy in tourneys during the week. The Major is currently guaranteed at £12k. The other two at £4k. Last nights tourney had well below half the runners that usually play the Major. Half the runners, one third of the guarantee, therefore not more popular in my book. I am sure that more players qualify for the Major through sats, than the other two. Bounty hunters or not is irrelevant.
Lets go back to the start. All I said was that a guarantee of an extra seat may be counterproductive, at certain times. My proof was that some sats are cancelled every week because of this, that have 3 entries. That was it. End of. Very few of the points you have made are even relevant in any way.
I dont mind having a bit of stick. In my defence my post is in between his. So the way to distinguish what I posted, from his nonsense, is that mine is in bold, and his isnt. I wouldnt want people thinking that I had posted little gems, like the below.
Trouble is, if we all were late reg'ers, the sat's would never go ahead
I was referring to Sky needing any help. You just get everything wrong. The fact that it was attached to a Tikay post, would have been enough of a clue for most people. Please leave me out of your chores and sunbathing. It was an attempt at a bit of humour. They dont always come off.
First sat this morning. Minimum 3 runners. Only 2 runners 10am. Didnt cancel immediately. One late entry. Cancelled at 10.07 am despite having the required 3 runners. ?

SOFTWARE'S getting SLOWER
Not sure what that actually means. It just seems silly to wait until the sat reaches the required minimum number of runners before cancelling. Not cancelling immediately where one runner is required to reach minimum makes sense.

Do you mean that the delay in cancelling is down to the speed of the software, and that if the required number of runners is not achieved by the starting time, that the sat will always be cancelled, even if the required number of runners enter before it is actually cancelled?

Thanks Mr two short.
Mr two short seems to have disappeared after losing heads up in the first one.
I am regretting straying away from the rail, so am heading back there.
This means that if you need any more help with sats in the future, I am sorry, but you will have to look elsewhere.
