Who won what, UKOPS Day 10, Sunday 6th November. Crushy wins the SHR, the Main goes to AndyBlack9.

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 161,219

Well that's another UKOPS done & dusted, & by most yardsticks it was very successful, with 62 of the 64 Events making Guarantee. One of the two misses was just £100, & the £40,000 Main missed by £2,000. During UKOPS, cash game action ramps up significantly, & that was certainly the case the last few days.

OK, let's push on with the 10th & last day of UKOPS Reviews, or at least, until we start over again at Christmas.

    £33 entry UKOPS 58 £10,000 Bounty Hunter (£10,260)

    256 entries, 86 rebuys

    @Natnug took this, worth over £1,800. He seemed to get going very late in the Series, but still managed 6 FT's including two wins (1st, 1st, 2nd, 4th 4th & 6th). He remains top of the Sky Poker Sharky MTT 2022 Leaderboard too, although I'm not 100% sure that includes yesterday's results.

    In 2nd, & playing just his 6th game here in 2022, @smashem had a PB cash.

    Completing the Podium was SPT Las Vegas champ @roddy28. He had a wonderful Series, 3 wins & 8 FT's.

    In 6th was @Summers119, who won a UKOPS this time last year.

    @Natnug 1710000 1 £1359.45 + £413.39 Head Prizes 11

    @smashem 0 2 £810.54 + £134.55 Head Prizes 5

    £530 entry UKOPS 59 £20,000 Super High Roller (£24,000)

    39 entries, 9 rebuys

    This got the FT it deserved, just take a look at that super six.

    The win went to Crushy @loololollo, his 14th FT & third win. An extraordinary performance, & thoroughly deserved.

    He was followed by @roddy28 & @cabbaz, so that was close to expectations I suppose.

    In 4th was @RUNITSRANN who is a serious Pro on the Live circuit, with over $1,000,000 in recorded winnings.

    @Thurpan_ i 5th was playing just his 8th MTT here this year, & first since May. He said in the chat box that he contributed "half the rebuys", which may or may not be true, but if so he just about got out of trouble in finishing 5th.

    The personable @Super_Oli was a very fine 6th.

    @AndyBlack9 was 7th, so very close to a wonderful double, as he went on to win the Main.

    @Tedson who had 8 FT's & 4 wins was 8th, what a player he is, with @Alvez11 9th.

    A year ago, @tomb1793 won a bunch of Free Entries in the Elim Fr, & went on to finish 7th for over £2,000. He almost repeated the trick this year, winning a week of the Elim Fr again & finishing 10th in this. For a pure recreational*, with an ABI of around £5.50, that's an outstanding achievement.

    "recreational". Weirdly, some players take that term as in insult, but it's absolutely not, it means what it says. There are probably no more than a dozen or so real Pros playing regularly on Sky Poker, 99.9% of the client base are recreationals.

    recreational; relating to or denoting activity done for enjoyment when one is not working.

    @loololollo 480000 1 £8400

    @roddy28 0 2 £5280

    £110 entry UKOPS 60 £40,000 MAIN EVENT (£40,000)

    307 entries, 73 rebuys, £2,000 overlay

    @AndyBlack9 took the honours. A very occasional visitor here, this was his first game in 3 weeks, apart from a satellite in which he won his seat to the SHR an hour or so earlier. Only seems to play £110 events & up, and aside from winning this, he was 7th in the SHR. And before anyone asks, no, I very much doubt this is the "real" Andy Black. You never know though...

    @JE85 was playing just his 8th game here in 3 years, but 2nd place for £5,800 means we may see more of him in the future.

    @Tuatime (3rd) only joined Sky Poker recently, this was just his 5th MTT, best previous result was 2nd in a MidEx.

    In 4th, @Morris707 had a PB, he's never had a score that big before even though he has 4 (regular) Main Event wins to his credit.

    @IamAll_En crowned a super series in 5th, this being his 7th FT.

    And look who was 6th, @NChanning, very much a case of cometh the hour, nice one Neil.

    @kawamattyz should be very happy with 7th after a testing Series.

    Enjoying a splendid PB in 9th was Everton fan @Toffeeandy.

    @craigcu12 was top six in both SHR & Main at various stages of the evening & got some reward here in 11th.

    One of the standout efforts of the entire series was @balder0y1 who had a double one night, was 12th for £480, & finished 10th in the UKOPS Leaderboard, so we'll get to see him in Manchester.

    @RogueCell was leader at one point, before fading to finish 12th for £220.

    @Shrimpy28 who was of course freerolling from his Elim Fr freebies was 33rd for £212, & he nicked a few bob in the Leaderboard too.

    Too many others to namecheck, but it seemed to me that the whole thing went rather well.

    £11 entry UKOPS 61 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£6,090)

    399 entries, 210 rebuys

    A feature of the Series has been the prize pools in the Minis, & here we see it again, over £6,000 from a £11 entry.

    The winner was @Perceptive who is not a familiar name to MTT-ers, but he plays a lot of SNG's & HU stuff & seems to do very well indeed, with all sorts of assorted Sharky stars.

    @faldo6929 seems to mostly play early mornings, but was well to the fore here with a later tee time.

    3rd was @TommyD who is another DYM specialist these days, though he plays a mean MTT when the mood takes him. He's likely sulking today though after Spurs got turned over again yesterday.

    4th was @ozzieowen with @IllPerkins who had a good Series & cashed in the Leaderboard was 6th.

    @Perceptive 1827000 1 £768.86 + £162.52 Head Prizes 10

    @faldo6929 0 2 £447.62 + £81.86 Head Prizes 8

    117 entries, 28 rebuys, £100 overlay

    @ozzieowen ran hot for an hour or so, winning this & running 4th in the super-sized Mini. Was also 4th in Friday's High Roller for over £900.

    @NOSTRI was runner-up, his 2nd FT of the Series as he was 5th in #21.

    FeelGroggy who won UKOPS 25 & was 7th in Friday's HR for £800.

    @Wacko90 has been largely MIA since January, had a handful of FT's including 6th here.

    @bromley04 ran into form late in the Series, 4th in Saturday's Mini & took the win here. Won a seat to Manchester on Saturday too.

    @PRhack93 & @bigfatfish both had slightly underwhelming Series, but got some consolation here in 3rd & 6th, and @cabbaz in 4th was making his 7th FT of the Series but never managed a win.

    At last, I hear you say, we come to the 64th & last of the Series, which went to @Steed432. Wins a lot of late night stuff, and was 2nd in a Major in August fresh off a 6 month break.

    2nd in only his 2nd cash of the Series was @chrisdonkb who we will see at Manchester for sure, & there was another cash for @IamAll_En who ran 4th.

    It was a "nearly but not quite" Series for 6th placed @Kahuna96 , running deep in 4 Mains (4th, 8th, 9th & 11th) but he did snare a win in Saturday's #56.

    @Steed432 375000 1 £356.25 + £166.41 Head Prizes 6

    And finally.....

    Here's the prize winners in the UKOPS Leaderboard. The top two both had very thin Day 10, (the SHR does not count), but double points in the Main was enough to give the win to @Tedson by just ONE point. Very unlucky for Crushy, but £8,400 from the SHR will ease the pain.

    Those who won an SPT seat have all now been registered for SPT Manchester. Make sure to introduce yourself, it's always good to put faces to names even if I do seem to forget them every time.

    1 @Tedson 86 £1,000 + £330 SPT entry

    2 @loololollo 85 £750 + £330 SPT entry

    3 @roddy28 66 £500 + £330 SPT entry

    I don't have input to these decisions obviously, but I'll certainly pass that on.

Chat was fun the whole series and Manchester is a nice way to cap it off for my birthday 🥳 , can’t wait to watch the first day of the World Cup after busting on day 1 🤣.

    You just need to go to the Tournament Desk, give them your alias, (ALIAS, not name) & they will have you on a list we have given them, that's it, job done.

    If in doubt, ask for me as soon as you arrive & I'll get you sorted.

    Thanks for all the write ups Tikay. Always a good read.

    A bit flukey to pip Lool with the double point min cash, but I don't feel too bad after his SHR win!

    See you all in Manc :)
