For a start, there needs to be a definition of "green space" or it just becomes meaningless. I'm sure that these people's definition is a lot bigger than you might think. It means park/rec/forest/countryside, rather than what I mean by a green space. As an example, most churches provide what I would call a green space.
Then there is the lazy claptrap saying 2.8 million are more than a 10-minute walk from their version of a green space. Due to the walk distance being essentially a circle, the area for a 15-minute walk is more than double that for a 10 minute walk.
Not saying more shouldn't be done. But these sorts of unscientific "goals" annoy me.
