Donald Trump is already using his historic mugshot to raise funds for his presidential campaign through the launch of a range of merchandise featuring his arrest photo.
The former US president became the first in American history to have his mugshot taken on Thursday after he turned himself in to the authorities on charges he sought to overturn his election loss in Georgia in 2020.
Mugshot mugs and T-shirts with his booking photo front and centre appeared on Mr Trump’s presidential campaign site on Thursday, shortly after the photo taken at Atlanta’s Fulton County jail was released.
A mug with the former president’s arrest photo is on sale for $25 (around £20), while T-shirts are priced at $34 (around £27).
The mugshot merchandise also includes stickers priced at $12 (£9.50) and a set of two beer coolers for $15 (£12).
