Who won what, Sunday 5th November, UKOPS Day 10. A splendid night to round off a great UKOPS

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,475

Afternoon.

Well well well, what a night, what a UKOPS. All 64 events covered, most of them handsomely.

Last night saw prize pools of £96,820, 10% up on last year's £87,950.

The £40,000 Main missed by £2,000 last year, this time it hit £45,900. Rather surprisingly, the HR was £3,000 down y-o-y, £24k last year, £21k this year.

James must take a ton of credit for the way he set the whole thing up, freerolls, prizes, feeders etc. I was a bit pessimistic about the Main hitting, but it beat g'tee by a whopping £5,900 this time.

And the software behaved itself throughout, such as it can with it's usual foibles.

BOOMIO.

Here's the Top 10 in the UKOPS Leaderboard BEFORE last night;

1 @destinycod 53

2 @GSmith13 52

3 @roddy28 48

4 @MikeyW94 43

5 @Natnug 41
5 @T_Bundy 41

7 @jordz16 39

8 @Granite89 38
8 @Jscorgie 38
8 @Vertigo 38

OK, off we go, for the 10th & final time.

    £33 entry UKOPS 58 £10,000 Bounty Hunter (£11,520)

    274 entries 110 rebuys

    Many congrats to @IamAll_En who in winning this completed a Series hat-trick, with wins in #12, #55 & #58, two of the three wins coming in days 9 & 10. It was very much all or nothing - "only" made 3 FT's but he won them all. He nicked a few bob in the Leaderboard too. Last night's win was his 2nd best result all time, beaten only by his Sunday Major win in 2021 during Boomlet.

    Runner-up @MacStack enjoyed his biggest ever cash, just beating his Hitman Main win earlier this year.

    @IamAll_En 1920000 1 £1503.36 + £579.84 Head Prizes 14

    @MacStack 0 2 £887.04 + £37.98 Head Prizes 2

    £220 entry UKOPS 59 £20,000 Super High Roller (£21,000)

    35 entries 7 rebuys

    @boulton016 landed the Super High Roller, and not for the first time either, he won the same event in the Autumn 2021 UKOPS. And he cashed in last Sunday's High Roller too, in 6th. Bit of a HR specialist it seems. For good measure, he cashed in last night's Main too, 24th place for £240. Played just 6 UKOPS events in the Series & cashed 3 times, 1st, 6th & 24th. Last night's HR 1st place prize? £7,350. We don't see that very often on Sky Poker. He was with us in Vegas the last time we went pre-COVID iirc.

    Tremendous effort in 2nd by @Feldy97 who won his seat in a £115 "Late Semi" satellite and went home with a very chunky £4,620, which is more than a normal Major winner gets.

    In 3rd was @MikeyW94 who surely must be close to winning the "most consistent" prize, making 8 FT's in the Series, finishing 3rd (3 times), 5th (twice) & 6th (3 times), which was enough to win him a £330 SPT Seat & £225 cash in the Leaderboard.

    @stack_u can always be relied on to turn up for these biggies & was 4th, we'll see him I hope in Manchester next month.

    Last year's winner was @loololollo who has not had the best of Series this time, but 5th place & £1,890 makes up a lot if not all of the damage.

    6th was @Richrash93 who after taking home £1,680 was on site from 8am this morning playing £2, £3 & £5 affairs.

    @boulton016 420000 1 £7350

    @Feldy97 0 2 £4620

    @MikeyW94 0 3 £3150

    @stack_u 0 4 £2310

    @loololollo 0 5 £1890

    @Richrash93 0 6 £1680

    £110 entry UKOPS 60 £40,000 MAIN EVENT (£45,900)

    352 entries 107 rebuys

    Goodness me, how about this for a 1st place on Sky Poker - £11,475. Proper money that.

    The player taking all that lolly home was @mcg899 and it was his 4th FT of the Series, with places of 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th. He had been AWOL for 3 weeks before UKOPS, so I guess he'll be pleased he returned. Far & away his best result here, beating the £4,600 he picked up for 2nd place in the Easter 2019 UKOPS Main.

    @roddy28 ran 2nd. Had a splendid Series, 6 FT's (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd 3rd & 4th). The Main awards double points & that was enough to make him the UKOPS Leaderboard winner, worth £1,000 in cash & a £330 SPT seat. Won the 2022 SPT Vegas & was with us again this year, a hugely popular lad though very hard to understand with his heavy Glasgow accent. When he speaks we just nod knowingly.

    @Ramoerrr was 3rd for £3,901.15. Let me repeat that - 3rd for £3,901.15. Nothing on the likes of 'Stars or GG, but a pretty big deal here. He has form, he won the UKOPS High Roller on the opening day of UKOPS last Christmas.

    4th was @JCordy & he picked up just shy of £3,000. You may recall he blitzed the Elim Freerolls & so was freerolling pretty much the entire Series. 4th here, 3rd in Friday's High Roller, 4th in Thursday's Main, he picked up ~£5,000 in prize money - all from Freerolls. Splendido.

    5th & 6th were @Super_Oli & @Kahuna96 both of whom picked up more than double 1st place in a regular weeknight Main.

    £11 entry UKOPS 61 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£6,510)

    401 entries 250 rebuys

    The Mini with a £6,510 prize pool fell to @baxter21 who has plenty of decent form in the book including an Avenger Main win, at least one Mini, & numerous Turbos, Quickdraws & MidEx's.

    @jimbo66 was 2nd, he does well in UKOPS, his best result was winning the Day 1 UKOPS Main last Xmas which was worth some £3,500 to him.

    @SMARTGOAT played a very light UKOPS schedule & so must be pleased with 5th for £300.

    £22 entry UKOPS 62 £3,000 Bounty Hunter (£3,740)

    145 entries 42 rebuys

    When @Gutshotter does well he does very well, & this was his third win of the Series, two of the wins coming on the same night, last Thursday. He seems to do things in two's - a month ago, almost to the day, he won both BWBH & Main, probably the only person to ever do that on the same night, then that double UKOPS win last Thursday.

    @Granite 89 made three FT's last night (3rd, 2nd & 6th), & six in the Series, which was enough to see him run 3rd in the Leaderboard, not bad considering he was winless.

    @RUTSTER19 who won #44 was 5th.

    @Gutshotter 561000 1 £514.25 + £170.89 Head Prizes 6

    @gimpazoid 0 2 £310.42 + £106.42 Head Prizes 9

    @KT1875 has only been with us 3 months so this was his maiden UKOPS, & he booked the win in only the 2nd UKOPS event he's ever played after finishing well down the field in the UKOPS Rebuy last Wednesday.

    Yet another FT for @Granite89 who won an SPT Vegas a few years ago.

    @Chipdiddy who clocked up 1st places on Wednesday & Friday was 6th.

    @KT1875 505000 1 £719.62 + £274.98 Head Prizes 4

    121 entries 34 rebuys

    @fishhhhh left it late, winning the closer. Only played a few this Series, mainly the nightly Mains. Best UKOPS effort was 1st in a UKOPS High Roller in 2020 & he's won three Majors v& pretty much every other Sky Poker biggie. Been casting his net in much deeper waters in recent years.

    Back-to-back FT's for @lllPerkins, 5th in #63, 2nd here.

    4th was @MStott who only returned on Saturday from an 18 month absence & promptly won the Main that night.

    5th was @nagrom who was 3rd in the UKOPS Main on the first Sunday for ~£2,000.

    @fishhhhh 465000 1 £433.23 + £181.72 Head Prizes 7

    Thanks Ed.

    It surprised me too to see it do so well, especially that £40,000 Main. Lovely to see.

    Hope you are keeping well.
