It was a disappointing end to a very good series. When I got to the end, and looked at the summary of the outcomes, I couldnt help feeling that they had completely wasted their time, in some cases for months on end.
I almost never watch anything on Ch 5 as their production standards & quality are usually so poor.
Is this "Incident Room" thing any good?
Definitely worth a watch. Hard to imagine what the juries were thinking. The guy got off twice, despite his DNA, and fingerprints being found, at a time when double jeopardy applied.

Sky Documentaries Announce “Bad Host: Hunting the Couchsurfing Predator”
Lightbox, the production company founded by Simon Chinn and Jonathan Chinn, is currently working on a three-part documentary series titled “Bad Host: Hunting the Couchsurfing Predator” for Sky Documentaries. The series, based on the popular podcast of the same name from the series “Verified,” follows the incredible story of a group of young women who come together to expose and bring down a predatory Italian police officer.
The women, from different parts of the world, unknowingly become victims of a predator who uses the Couchsurfing website to lure them into staying with him. Despite facing indifference in their respective countries, these women find each other online and unite to seek justice. Their promising trips to iconic cities turn dark as they leave the predator’s apartment feeling confused, disoriented, and haunted by disturbing memories.
Upon returning to their home countries, some of the women receive unexpected messages from strangers who were also victimized by the same predator. Realizing they are part of a larger pattern of abuse, the women create a secret Facebook group to discuss their experiences and plan to bring the perpetrator to justice.
“Bad Host: Hunting the Couchsurfing Predator” offers an intimate and detailed account of the women’s courageous fight for justice over the course of six years. The series provides exclusive access to the extraordinary group of women involved in the case, shedding light on their determination and resilience.

To blame the victims would clearly be wrong, but I do think that some people live very risky lifestyles.
