The eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted that @NChanning @Sky__James & @Tikay10 are conspicuous by their absence.

I can't speak for Neil or James, but I had one of those days.

Could not make anything happen, self-confidence evaporated & I allowed myself to get pushed around too easily.

Adam Bromley & I clashed in a hand - good friends always do - after I opened with A-Q suited & he smooth called behind me. The board ran out (something like) A-7-6-4-2 or similar, Adam check-called my bets every street until the river when, with around 8,000 in the pot, he set me all-in for around 20,000. eeek. I gave it considerable thought, worked it all out methodically & logically, & eventually came to the decision that he was clearly at it & I was miles ahead. I mean, he HAS to be at-it here.

    So I folded.

And spent the rest of the day kicking myself for being so weak.

Bullet 1 died in spectacular fashion when I got my 13BB in pre with the quite pretty Kh-Qh & I was pleased to get a call from the SB - I NEED a call here. I was not so pleased when the BB called too. I was in shocking shape, double dominated (they had A-Q & A-K) & there was no miracle.

Bullet 2 was more of the same really. Lost 20% of my stack very first hand only to be shown a pure bluff & was soon on the back foot again.

A little hot spell followed & I got up to 45,000 with two 2XUps, one of which was a bit lucky, but then the wheels came off again & I was soon down to 12 BB. There was an open from a lad who was, shall we say, "a bit splashy" & I jammed with Ad-Jd, he called quickly with 9-9. Never even got a sweat, the door card was a 9 & that was that.

    one of those days...

I'm a little annoyed that I can't recall the Alias of Greg Churchward. I'm sure I know it, & him.

    Play resumes at 1pm.

    The Mystery Bounties immediately come into play;

"Bounty prizes come into play at the start of day 2. e.g if 54 players make it though to day 2 there will be 54 bounty prizes. When you knock a player out on day 2 you will pick a prize at random. These prizes will be of varying amounts depending on the prize pool with a top prize of £10,000"

Once I become available we'll try & get a bit of a Live Update going with a few photos plus a list of who wins the bounties, especially that £10,000 one.

At present, I do not know the Prize Pool payouts or how many players will be paid. I'll try to let you know as soon as I'm able.

With just 42 returnees, & some big bounties on offer which I assume will speed things up, we might just get an earlier finish than usual.

A very belated good afternoon, apologies for the delay. My attendance in the Tournament is no longer required, so it's time I did some work after almost 3 days sciving.

The timing is quite good actually, as I set up my laptop I heard the refrain "FINAL TABLE".

So give me 10 minutes to get myself set up, then, all being well I'll get the chip counts, seat draw & names, plus maybe a 'photo of 9 smiling faces.

If anyone wants to mildly amuse themselves, this horrifically bad photo is a list of the bounties that have gone, to whom they have been awarded, & which ones are left. You'll need a "squeezable" device - 'phone, i-pad or whatever, but it's the best I can manage at this late stage.

A few familiar names there, including one chap who has SIX already, including the £10,000 one.
