"For the second time in 48 hours, there was a lumpy chunk of overlay in the Main, £530 this time, &, as was the case on Monday, there was a mini overlay in the Mini.
A great Main event result though, with @tai-gar getting the win. The folk at "Responsible Gaming" never need to worry about him, he seems to have exemplary bankroll management. Even though he does well in bigger events, generally speaking he only enters them if he wins a seat via a satellite. So on Monday, he played 3 All-In Sats to the Main, bricked them all, then drew stumps. Last night he played the 3 All-In Sats again, won his seat (total cost 3 x £1.80 = £5.40), then went on to 1-table the Main event & win it, taking home ~£937. If only more of us had that discipline. I don't know him personally, but I'm going to guess he'd be eligible for the WSOP Super Seniors. With age comes wisdom & all that. Then again, I'm gonna look pretty silly if it turns out he only about 35. A tough FT too, with @Woebegone 2nd, @FlynTimber 4th @Limp2Lose 5th & @bigfatfish 6th.
@Woebegone made up for his disappointment by winning a strong Turbo, with the lower podium steps occupied by @tonyp142 & @loololollo.
@HHACKNEY has twice been 2nd in Predator Main this year, but got the Predator win last night - in the Mini. 3rd was @WOODY43 & 6th was @woody207. I can almost hear the suspicious minds ticking, but there are at least 25 "woody" aliases on Sky Poker so I don't think there's any need to arch eyebrows.
@Uarebumboy joined Sky Poker in last 2022, but barely played until this year. He now has 91 MTT's against his name with Sharky giving him an 88 rating & a 40% ROI. Last night in winning Quickdraw he registered his 4th Featured MTT win in 91 attempts - so he's now won a Main, Quickdraw, Mega & MidEx. Seems to be genuinely useful & is on to keep an eye on.
A thread debut for @Sjdjfj who won MidEx. In 2nd was @reeler who is in splendid form right now, 2nd vin Monday's Main & one spot better in Tuesday's Main.
Meanwhile @bakersdoze only played 9 @ 9 & Quickdraw, but won the former to ensure a very profitable mini-session.
Great mini-session by @DW1414 too. All he played was an All-In satellite to the Main (no good), another to Mega in which he won his seat, then went on to win Mega. Total outlay £3.00, total return £293, profit £290. Lovely job.
Annoyingly, Sharkscope has just gone offline for some inexplicable reason, so I can't say too much except "well done" to @anglinedge @SKINDOH73 & @ibrown74 who won £1k Bh, 7 @ 7 & £1k Rebuy respectively.

For the most part MTT traffic was "acceptable" but - there's always a "but", right? - Summit had a shocker, knocking up £1,100 of Overlay. As least many of those missing will have enjoyed watching Arsenal's 7-1 win in the CL. "Round of Arsenal" indeed...
@Z1 took Gold Rush Main. Not much I can tell you about Mr Short Alias except that his play is spread equally between cash games & MTT's, he's been here 15 years & with just 300 MTT's in that decade & a half, if he were a racehorse we'd describe him as "lightly-raced". A lengthy search failed to find any previous wins of this magnitude, so well done Z. He must have done well to hold off the chasing pack of @chrisdonkb (2nd) @Bensons22 (3rd) @grinddd (4th) & @RUTSTER19 (5th) who won Sunday's £5,000 BH. Worth noting how well @Bensons22 is currently doing, in the last week he's won Quickdraw twice & ran 3rd in Sunday's Major. Is becoming quite a force to be reckoned with. Going back to our winner, @Z1 I wonder if his alias is in honour of the ugliest & tackiest looking car BWM ever produced?
@gianni won the Mini & his playing profile is remarkably similar to Main winner @Z1 - been here 15 years, played very little, and activity spread roughly 50/50 between cash games & MTT's. I did manage to unearth a win though, he took down a Reload almost exactly a month ago. @Spacemaff was 4th in an early afternoon £250 BH before running 2nd here. In 4th was @WAREZ who is putting in much less MTT volume of late, mostly 1 tabling & just 8 MTT's in the last fortnight. Used to be quite high volume.
I mentioned earlier that Summit let the side down with £1,100 of Overlay and so it was no surprise to see Lord Value Spotter himself - @NChanning - help himself to a huge chunk of that free money by taking 1st place. There's a man who knows value when he sees it. It's his big week next week - the Cheltenham Festival - so I'm not sure if we'll see much of him as he'll be working hard for his Betting Emporium subscribers, plus of course he has his Cheltenham Preview Dinner this Saturday, where he'll be joined by the likes of Sean Boyce, Lydia Hislop & Richard Hoiles. Those of you who saw him on Luck On Sunday a few days ago will barely have recognized him, he's had his hair cut properly & looks at least 20 years younger.
The £800 BH fell to @Frankson8 who also won an early afternoon £150 Turbo BH as well as running 3rd in 7 @ 7. If I were his coach I'd be telling him to reduce the number of MTT's he plays by at least 50%. Then he'd enjoy them more, play better, have time to savour the moment, & understand that old adage "less is more". I'm not digging him out, not at all, just trying to help. And I'm right...
@sogenius went to the other extreme & only played 3 games last night, 1 of which was a satellite, but it worked out nicely as he won 7 @ 7. As it happens, he also won a 1am £100 Freezeout 18 hours earlier too, so he actually had two 1st places yesterday from 3 MTT's played. Less is more...
@Hotshot94 seems to have upped his volume & is going along nicely, and after winning the Rebuy BH he later ran 3rd in the 9 @ 9 which was won by @Sharki0
@hendry1 is becoming something of a Reload standing dish & after finishing 1st & 3rd in it inside a week at the end of January, he won it again last night.
In the SPT Brighton Semi, @Muixen10 who only plays Brighton satellites got his seat having qualified via an £11 Quarter Final. Meanwhile @destinycod became the first & only player to win FOUR seats to SPT Brighton.
In the Vegas Quarter we saw two more qualify for Sunday's Vegas Semi - @gixxerk4 & @HANSON both of whom are "regulars" in the nicest sense of the word. Would be great if either or both qualified for the Vegas jolly.
That's it, I'm done. It's SPT weekend, & I'm heading south tomorrow, so Updates will be sparse until early next week. I'm fairly sure you'll cope.
