"Pleasantly busy again last night, highlights being the £4,000 Main (£5,310), £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,780), £1,000 Rebuy BH (£1,440) & £700 7 @ 7 (£931). Decent football on TV tonight, a CL Semi Final featuring PSG & Dortmund, plus two EFL play-off matches, so I imagine traffic will be affected to a degree.
The sensational run of results by @FlynTimber was extended last night when he won the Main. In the last 8 nights he's now won a Summit, a £5,000 BH, a Main, & been 2nd in BWBH , & this time last month he won the Major. His Sharky stats are fascinating. For his first 8 years here until 2022 he played around 750 games & never made a penny, basically break-even or a small loser. In the subsequent 2 years he's played roughly the same amount of games, 750, & made a profit of over £30,000. His ROI is now 44.6%, & that is on an ABI of £46. Whatever way you look at those numbers, that's truly outstanding. Sharky now rate him 94, I doubt it was above 70 two years ago. Runner-up was @SUCCESS666 who must be sick of the sight of Flyn - in Sunday's £5,000 BH @SUCCESS666 was 3rd with the win going to - yup, you've guessed it, @FlynTimber.
@steererwon Marksman Mini, his second Mini this year, as he won the Predator version in January. has several Reload wins on his CV too.
@glav66619has won 7 @ 7 three times & last night he moved up a gear & won the 9 @ 9. Has a Predator Main event win to his credit too.
Reload went the way of @adair333who has won Quickdraw 6 times & had some big results here 12 or 14 years ago.
Just shy of a month ago,@DukeyFluke won the Turbo but has barely been since until running 8th in last Friday's Turbo, then going AWOL all weekend until returning last night to win Quickdraw.
@LittleGJ is wonderfully consistent & had a really good session. Won 7 @ 7, 10th in the £1k Rebuy BH, 6th in the Main, won a £300 BH, & won a seat to the Main via a £7.20 satellite.
The Elim Freeroll went to@stradby who has been here 13 years but is fairly low volume. I have very little data on him or her, except that they have traditionally always done OK in Elim Freerolls down the years.
SPT Semi Final seats went to @SPTpaul who some of you may have met at a Newcastle SPT some years ago, @bigman16 & @gixxerk4. We may well see @gixxerk4 at SPT Glasgow at the end of this month, & if so, hopefully he'll give me some tips to help my golf game, which is truly abysmal. If he wins a Vegas package, maybe he'll play 18 holes at The Wynn, it'd be a bargain at $550 per round, & that includes brutal sunburn."
Traffic levels were excellent with zero overlay - that's a rarity these days - & many of the Featured MTT's coming in 40% above guarantee. To be fair, the stars were aligned, as it was the 4th of the month, so many players have just received their monthly pay cheque (anyone remember cheques?) plus, more importantly I suspect, Sky Poker Monthly Deposit Limits reset on the 1st of each month. All good then.
We start today with the last of the three SPT Vegas Finals, & what a story that is. First up, who are they?
Both @Granite89 & @Super_Oli have won previous Vegas packages with us, in fact I seem to recall that @Granite89actually won the SPT itself when we had that private room in Venetian, though maybe my memory is playing tricks again. But look at that third qualifier - @MAXALLY.
The annual SPT Vegas bubble is far & away the biggest bubble of the year on Sky Poker - usually, it's literally x thousand or nothing. Nobody knows that more than Alan, who was exactly that one year - the Vegas Bubble Boy. And this year, he seemed to have developed the habit of bubbling Vegas sats. But variance is such a thing of beauty, & eventually, it always settles it's bills fairly. So here's what happened to @MAXALLYyesterday.
3.20pm - 2/8 Vegas Micro
4.50pm - 1/11 Vegas All-In Sat
5pm - 3/17 Vegas Quarter Final
7pm - 2/21 Vegas Semi Final
9.15pm 3/14 Vegas Final
What a journey that was, starting mid afternoon & finishing at around 8 minutes after midnight.
Alan @MAXALLY lives in or near Stoke, so maybe deserves a break. Not entirely sure how he earns his living, but it may be accountancy or similar. I do know he has a son of whom he is very proud, so maybe it'll be a father & son trip. Anyway, well done to all three of the winners, & I hope you have an absolute blast out there.
It was really good to see all the warmth & congratulations in the Table Chat, most especially of all from last night's bubble boy, @RoilFlush. When you've just bubbled a Vegas trip, it's not always easy to be gracious to the winners, but he was the first to congratulate the winners, & not just in the Table Chat, but on the Forum too. I get a little tired - more than a little tired actually - of poker players moaning & groaning about this & that, but last night balanced a lot of that out. A great result, & everyone in the table chat being warm & civil. Love it.
Turning now to the Major, & I think it was a bit of a surprise winner in @guymjl92 who has been here almost a decade but in admittedly light volume has only ever had 2 thread mentions, in both cases for making the FT of Sharpshooter Main. Well done Guy. He will have done well to fend off our greatest chatbox troll in 2nd placed @chipdiddy0who was in highly amusing form last night. It's amazing how many bites he gets, folks really do think he's being serious. And our man @HAYSIE was 3rd, in attempting to win the Major for the 11th time if we include the Super Roller which was the previous incarnation of the Major.
@Whizzewky took the Mini Major, & I'm pretty sure he's never done so previously.
With apologies to everyone else, but it's a Bank Holiday & I'm out of time, so I don't have time to run through all the other results, but I really did want to congratulate the 3 Vegas winners, plus of course our Major Man.

Morning.

Nobody can say it was an easy Vegas Final either - the 5th, 6th 7tth & 8th respectively were @Natnug @loololollo @destinycod & @GSmith13.
