So many things to mention; the first time I met you at luton casino with chompy, chatting about food with maca at the plo8 tables, the blast at the plo8 tables with the usual suspects, your stalkers/haters, eating a horse, spending the first few hours at your table in the sky live gig at Luton in 2012, which I did ok in and lastly all your fine work on Sky. Thank you and have a happy retirement
I can only echo the previous comments. You are sky poker and have (through the forum)been part of my life virtually every day as I read the results thread religiously looking forward to the "puns" and pearls of wisdom and on the odd occasion I have achieved some kind of result the possibility of a mention.
I have met Tikay on a few occasions over the years and enjoyed our chats at SPT events, vegas and most fondly when I was lucky enough to be part of team sky poker and was a guest on the live TV show with Tikay and Richard Orford where I was made very welcome and my nerves were soon gone with Tony's encouragement. Was great to see you briefly at Glasgow last weekend and hopefully I can persuade you to come up to Fife for a few games of golf when you have a space on your bucket list.
Finally I must give one last apology for losing in the final of the infamous Leeds SPT side event to Richard Orford which created possibly the lowest point in your long and illustrious career as you had to put up with hearing about it on a daily basis for years.
Have a great and happy retirement you deserve it .
You truly were the lifeblood of Sky poker and it is a fitting moment to complete such an illustrious career. I'm not sure this site or player base deserved you, but I am grateful we had you nonetheless. I hope retirement gives you all the joy and fulfillment in the world- the way you intend to kick-start it sounds wonderful.
