Technical problems getting worse.

Just had yet another really bad experience.
OK it was only a 30p dym s&g but it is the principal.
Through to the last 3 but I do like the league points.
Message came up to tell me I had connection problems. Wrong.... the other sites I was on, (non poker) were functioning fine. Sky threw me off the site.
Logged back in but it would not relaunch the table,
Had to search through the running tornaments to find mine and that took ages cos everything was running so slowly.
Eventually found the table and launched it only to find myself just about to be blinded out in third place desppite the fact I had been chip leader.
Even tried using find a player as a shortcut to the table but it said I did not exist.

Getting really fed up with the technical glitches and no it is not my computer or internet connection,

Get you act together Sky.

Tim

If you are in this situation again, and can't find your table click Poker Lobby >>>>>> My Tables >>>>> Running.

I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!! What would the motive be?

There are just some technical problems that need to be sorted out.

    No conspiracy theory from me.

As an aside did anyone look at how many players were online tongiht???

Was it busier than normal for a Friday and therefore the issues were due to being overloaded, or was it another issue entirely?

OK, let's not go overboard, but there's obviously a pattern emerging here.

I don't for a second imagine there's anything remotely fishy going on, but Sky have definitely got some form of unstable software. I've been busted out loads of times mid-game this year... and twice tonight, I'm at least glad I'm not the only one, but this does ruin an otherwise great site and cool community.

    Good post FlutNush,
I feel sorry for those folks on the 15K BH tourney. What a bummer.

It is a relief to see this thread and realise it is not just me having this problem. I was leading a £2 Scary STT this afternoon (down to final three players) and also leading a £3 £50 Guaranteed MTT at the same time when everything froze on me and it took 20 minutes to reconnect...

...by this time i had finished third on £2 Scary and although i was on final table of MTT i was masive shortstack and at a massive disadvantage compared to when i lost connection, ended up out of money.

It then happened in £15K BHunter tonight when it was down to the final 70...when i reconnected I'd lost half my chips.

I am only a small stakes player but like Timbobo said, it is the principal.

Wow, I feel especially sorry for those of you that were in latter stages of the 15k bh.

    Serious money there.

    Im afraid they won't.

Its happened loads before and they say they will 'review each case' but they don't.

Imagine going through every player that was on the site at the time.

I was once in a tournie that was affected by a site outage.

I was refunded the entry fee the next day.

While this isn't a great outcome, they did offer the gesture and did it without me havin to email them.

Another time when I was disconnected during a cash hand, all I had to do was to email them and they looked into it and refunded me my £50 which is what it cost me.

Some people will not be happy with what is offered, but Sky will deal with it...fair enough it may take a day or two but Sky CS are the best of any poker site IMO.
