Just read about Eastgate selling his bracelet. I don't understand why he has rejected poker ever since he won the biggest prize in the game. Not playing in the ME this year, selling his bracelet etc...
If he really wanted to make a donation to charity he could easily do that out of his own money.
I wish I had the Bankroll to play in the 1250/2500 NLHE cash game currently taking place in APT Macau. Some rich business man is playing with Ivey Durr and Chau Giang. MBN.

I don't think it's fair to say Peter "rejected" poker. He retired about six months ago.
In the wake of his Main Event victory, he enjoyed some incredible results. But, after 18 (pretty intense) months on the live tournament circuit, he decided to quit the game.
He's made a small fortune from poker, but now wants to try something new. I salute him for that! Who knows? In 5-10 years, he may come out of retirement
"Biggest hand I ever saw and arguably the craziest was a guy betting HK$28m on the river into a HK$51m pot with a gutshot straight draw against what turned out to be top set. He was down over HK$100m at the time and hit it."
