The mis-read in the clinic, wasn't a "mistake". A mistake is acceptable ofc, given my history of criticising, un-justifiably, I deffo thought twice about posting.......
But, for 30 minutes of a 4 hour show, the aim is to pick apart 3/4 poker hands, seriously. It's also a stand alone show.
To miss the start of the hand (and therefore completely mis-read the whole hand) makes the feature pretty pointless.
It aint a mistake as in a mis-read of a players stack, or mis-calculation of pot odds - both of which wud be understandable.
Just watch the hand and say limping with aces isn't profitable? job done.
U probably should re-record that poker clinic section before u send it out again..........
I paid 200xbb in rake playing 4nl HU the other day - use it to sign Redmond up.

It may be unacceptable to you, as I note you have now made the point twice, but it was a genuine mistake, for which I immediately apologised live, on the Show, after you pointed it out the first time. I'm afraid I am bound to make mistakes from time to time, it's inevitable in a Live Show.
However, & as Sky Mandy, Rich Orford, & the technicians will confirm, I had severe technical problems throughout the 4 hour Live Show, during which my "talk-back" failed, & had to be changed, no less than 5 times. On occasions, the Sound Crew were trying to rectify this, in the Studio, "under a graphic" during the Show, which, from my perspective, made it just about as difficult & stressful 4 hours as could be possible. I'm not sure anyone could easily do an entire 4 hour Live Show without talk-back, (& the Pre-Record, as it happens) & I know it certainly impaired my performance badly, & I hope I'm never in that position again.
It's not possible to re-record the Poker Clinic, given that it's recorded as a Show within a Show. I'll just have to live with the consequences, & criticisms.
Big thanks, though, to Rich Orford, who, acutely aware of the problem throughout, did his best to cover for the severe difficulties I was experiencing. Incredibly, no viewers seem to have noticed the studio issues we suffered last night, so well done to Rich, Mandy, & all the Gallery.
Once again, I apologise for mis-reading the play of the hand.
The Pre-Recorded "TSP CLASSIC" was also, from my perspective, "less than satisfactory", for the same reasons, so I expect there will be negative feedback about that, too, when it first airs.

good response tikay, totally understandable and acceptable reasoning imo.
ps. it also shows a distinct improvement on the "my dog ate my homework" line for which you were originally credited back in 1922.
