Yeah I actually have the gambler aware check list on the wall. The day I start answering yes to the questions is the day I stop playing poker. Sad fact is a lot of players are addicted, rather than a normal enjoyement factor. Definately not a game for those with addictive personalities.
i seen this ages ago its good tv tells u how he made so much money from a small bankroll and tells u how he went busto and he borrowed loads of money of hes mum and she hated him playing poker but all come good in the end still dnt like the guy tho arrogant beeep Posted by IDONKCALLU
This was first screened on sunday night fella !!!
I live 2 mins from the drop in centre for the kids, it dont arf make Bradford look like a reet dump on`t tellybox!!!
Enjoyed the programme as it benefitted some worthy charitys,
Didn`t like the look of his curry much!! Bit too much garlic for me lol.
For those interested it's repeated this Fri CH 4 @ 12:10a.m. Posted by Glenelg
Also can see it anytime on utube on channel 4's channel, as I watched it there last night.
And to Donkeyplop:. No I expect he had a fragile emotional state from the beginning. Guy is rich, in his twenties and lives at home with mum while renting out his own home. Not really a surprise he is a candidate for addition as well, if is mentally fragile, which he appears to be. Poker really not a game for him I think as I doubt it does him any good at all mentally, and it seems so.

a) It was first screened on Sunday b) He never borrowed any money of his parents , definately not "loadz" .c) She never hated him playing poker, she hates him being addicted to poker and formerly gambling. d) From watching that show alone, he comes across as having very very very little aggorance.
I watched this last night and I really felt sorry for the guy. He does have a talent for poker but he hasn't the mental strength to deal with emotional issues. He seemed totally unhappy with his life. What happens to the poker now that he has admitted he has a gambling addiction? How can he continue playing poker if he intends to get help from Gamblers Anonymous?
just watched this and im the same as some ppl posted i have changed my opinion on andrew totally and i felt the programme was very emotional makes you think plus those 3 guys that got cheques off andrew deserved it so much and much more for what they do every day in life helping others.
but as i said i really enjoyed the programme and hope andrew gets what he really wants in life to make him and his family truly happy.

He seems an emotional guy I wonder if poker had made him that way?

How can you be 22 and not know the difference between an onion and garlic.

His commentry skills are awful. " He is definately going to fold here , 100% he is going to fold , oh he raised ".
Nicely put.
