    11.87 to win 36.64

    32% equity needed.

    Close but nope!

    Does it alter if I'm pretty confident I'm up against 2 overpairs? :)

    The concern was dirty outs...

    Is it not £11.87 to win £24.77 ?

    That's what we're risking and what's in the middle to win, we don't include money that we aint called off yet do we? or am I wrong?

    Always been under the impression we do include our call in the calc...

    Maybe someone else could confirm this?

    I'm sure in an MTT you'd say 1187 chips to scoop a 3664 pot...Does it change for cash?

    Call divided by pot  to be raked in equals equity required to call. So yes include the call

    There are equity calculations where you subtract your investment, maybe thats where the confusion comes from

    What your referring too is called Alpha (A)

    A = Risk/(Risk+Reward)

    Fold to initial flop bet and definitely fold now! I'd fold to flop bet because it's a PSB and there's 2 players left to act behind us. Just not a great situation. If I was going to continue OTF because I believed I was ahead of Rich_King then I'd prefer a raise to get rid of the other 2 players. A min-raise should be enough - if one of the other players gets involved we can fold/shut down. If Rich just flats well it's going in OTT anyway.
