I'm back from my hols in the USA.
I played 2 plo8 tournies in Vegas when I was over there, and cashed in one. It was interesting to play a live plo8 tourney. I also cashed in a couple of NLH tournies, so all in all not a bad trip.
I know I have 3 weeks buy ins for the league pending for my monthly prize in January. I was wondering if Dave could arrange my buy ins for tonight, and the next 2 weeks if possible. If I am too late for tonights tournies, then could you make it the 3 weeks after.

The 2nd week was playing golf in the Phoenix area, it was great to play in the sunshine in the middle of winter. We had a pool at our Villa , so enjoyed a little dip afterwards. We usually played cards at night, sometimes poker, but usually Euchre.
3rd week was Vegas, played PLO8 at the Orleans, it was a limit game though, so hard to get heads up, usually 5 or more players to the flop. I went quite deep in the 1st game without cashing, but managed a 5th place in the next one, after adjusting my strategy to cope with the limit game. There were only 2 games in the week that I was there. I played a few NLH games in between, cashing in a few, although no big wins, but enough to go back with the same spending money that I took there. So fairly happy with that. I also ran into 2 Sky poker players in the Aria, Ian Senior and his mate Danny, who was sat directly to my left in the tournament. Small world.
My last week was in Mexico, played a couple of golf courses, went out fishing, and hired an ATV and messed about in the sand dunes. We took our catch from the fishing to a local restaurant, , and they cooked us up a feast, with fish to spare, which we gave to the restaurant. Then it was back to Phoenix for a few days before flying home.
So all in all, quite a nice winter break, it was good to sample the atmosphere surrounding the Superbowl, and definitely great to get a bit of sun on the old bones.
