TSP Transfer signing? - NOW ANNOUNCED

Following rumours in the media, Sky Poker have been forced to confirm the rumours that they are in discussions with a high profile signing to join Team Sky Poker.

Team manager Tony 'Tikay' Kendall was pounced on by reporters when leaving the training ground this morning and admitted a press conference may be called tomorrow to announce the new signing. Kendall, who recently denied rumours that he was to be replaced by Richard Orford, said he had the full backing of the board in his decision and that he was excited in getting pen to paper with the new player.

    Why is it I think we're about to see an interview with Tikay in the style of Harry Redknapp?  He'll just be driving out of the SkyPoker training ground, stop the car, buzz down the electric window and tell us how 'triffic' someone is.

    If he is doing things in the style of Redknapp then should we not be expecting more like 15 signings rather than the 5 mentioned in the promotions page.

    Sorry lads, can't discuss it now, I'm busy, Disciplinary Hearing at Lancaster Gate.

    Hope to parade both the new signings tomorrow, after they have had the medical & agreed personal terms. Striker & a midfield general. T'riffic lads, both of 'em.

    In my experience from a manager using this term to describe new signings, one is from Nairobi Rovers and the other is putting on a shirt for his 18th club.  Still, always did like Brian Deane.
