Thanks again everyone, it really does mean a lot to me. I think TSP is going to be a ton of fun and I'm going to do my best to try and make it a site thing rather than just a small bunch of people. Yes the diary is coming back very soon so with 20% added banter. We really do have a great lot of people on the forum, I kind of want everyone to be part of the journey. And I just used the J word like a contestant on X Factor or Jeremy Kyle. Sigh, need a shower now, feel dirty. Anyways after leaving the training ground today I spotted this bloke in the car park, is the next signing very close? Posted by TommyD
I cant remember this guys name but I have a memory of him saying MONSTER everytime he was on tv. I have no idea why ,perhaps I have just made that up . I am sure someone can tell me.
Congrats on the spot on the team Tommy it is much deserved and I am sure most players on this site would have made the same first pick also.

Cheers mate
To the bold part, you're bang on. His name is Eric Hall and he was an agent to lots of footballers. He got a taste for getting on TV himself and said 'Monster' all of the time, this was back in the 90s when pop culture thought the example of Loaded magazine was the way to go.
Funnily enough when I used to work in Paddington (years and years ago now) Eric was one of two 'celebs' I saw out and about tons of times. He'd always be taking a few big bags of clothes to the launderette, and always be wearing a very shy and retiring shade of bright orange.
The other celeb? Mr Channing. Bearing in mind I was working on Praed street this was hardly a shock.
n1 mr messiD now we just need to see the real tommy again as last sunday your play in the mini was more like an out of form ronaldo as well you know hopefully this sunday twinkle toes will be back on form Posted by GELDY

Hey no worries mate, I didn't take offense or anything.
Yeah last Sunday was a stinker. I'm not going to bore anyone with beat beat stories but in short I played a huge Sunday schedule and went out/stack crippled 6 of them as a plus 90% when the chips all went over the line. Some of those were big tournies. Most of those hands were a few hours in and for top 20 stacks. Then I went out of the Primo AA<KK AIPF. I freely admit I tilted a little in the mini because of it. It's a leak which used to be much worse but still raises its head once in a while, something I always try to combat. But it's all just variance, just so happens like London buses this time they all formed an orderly queue for me.
