Sounds like Fun have probally only played Omaha a few times not quite got me head around it esp.when trying to work out what a good starting hand is, anyway have reg. for the 14-55 tourney gl all
Not sure where and when everyone can play and being distracted by a dog chewing my ankles, I have registered for every PLO8 MTT in the lobby at present. If people want to play a STT at any time the best place to suggest it is probably on the table.
GL all, ask anything at the tables you want, not question too dumb enough to not give a dumber answer to
I'm playing from a £20 bankroll at the moment (Don't ask), so I probably should avoid lumping a big chunk of it into a game I've never played. I'll be sticking to the cheaper buy-ins this afternoon.
PLO8, then... That's the one where you take off your clothes when you lose, isn't it? Looking forward to it. lol
Played the £1 omaha game was really good, had borinloner, thedon and pingu at the table, really good fun!
But i didn't last 2 long lol i didn't even know the rules, Like when I have a flush but dont have a flush haha
This was a hand against pingu

I know i'm ahead on the flop, but after the turn, i was thinking i'll still hit my full house, but forgot only 2 of my cards from the starting 4 counted.
And if you have 4 spades on the board, and you have the ace of spades in ur hand it's no good:(
AFAIK, limping is seen as much more 'acceptable' in PLO and PLO8.
Be interested to hear the thoughts of Tikay or TommyD as to whether you're happy to (and which situations) you would open limp in PLO/PLO8, choosing to play more poker postflop. Is it something that comes into play more when stacks are shallower?
Good stuff Tikay. Pity the cheap mtt's didn't work out for this evening but never mind. Hopefully see you on a table this afternoon. Posted by Darntootin
There are now £1.10 High-Low MTTs at 7:15, 8:15 and 9:15 in the lobby
im not to keen on plo8 as i dont like the thought of having the best hand yet still split the pot much prefer omaha Posted by IDONKCALLU
Isnt this just a mental workaround you need to do? that best hand isn't the best hand if there are 3 lows on the board, that makes it better when you hit the NUTNUT next hand
Sigh so ive missed most of the fun having to work today BUT there is a 19:15 PLO8 £1.10 tournament so get in ppl (same @ 20:15 and 21:15)
In Response to Re: Hi-Lo Low cost fun tonight....... : There are now £1.10 High-Low MTTs at 7:15, 8:15 and 9:15 in the lobby Posted by FCHD
Wonderful news. I shall play alll three of those.
Hopefully a good few of those who are interested in some "cheap" PLO8 fun will join in.
There are some bigger buy-in ones tonight, too, £3.30, £5.50 & £11. I'm not sure if I'll play those, as I'm playing the £1.10 ones and £2.35 PLO8 DYM's at the same time, but TommyD, CoxyLBoro & others have promised to help, & I expect they will play those bigger ones.
4.25pm - £3.30, 11 runners. (Shows how price sensitive they are).
4.55pm, £1.10, 24 runners.
Me? Not very good, I finished, resprctively, 8th, 7th & 6th. If only I could maintain that momemtum for 5 more of them.......in the last one I was in great shape on the Final Table, but completely missed seeing the rivered flush, & got the lot in & ran into nut-nut. Whoops.
I played 4 x £2.25 PLO8 DYM's, too, won 2, lost 2.
So I've played for 4 hours or more, had a bunch of fun, & lost about £8. Not too bad then.
