In a phunk.

Can't get any kind of momentum going.  I thought the ME bink would kick start my year, however its seemed to have the opposite effect.

Cash sucks.  MTTs suck.  Poker sucks.

On a little downswing here and looking for some kind of win somewhere to boost the confidence... and of course the BR.

Maybe.... just maybe, i'll run deep in tonights main, take Charlottes head and bink a UKPC seat.  Thatd be nice.

Hello Mojo.... i've missed you.

I dont know if im playing well or running well on cash.  Its probably a bit of both, but this weekend has been an absolute stormer on the cash tables!

I've only played 50nl and 40nl with a max of 3 tables going at any one time.  Considering ive been out and about this weekend im a bit surprised ive managed to win what I have.

Either way, that downswing i had over the past 3 or so weeks seems a distant memory as ive ended up near enough 20 BI's up this weekend, effectively doubling what I had in my account.

Well I just had a very interesting cash session across 50nl and 100nl.

It started off pretty terribly, running myself into a £200 hole.  One big bluff and one call knowing villain is full of it, but getting lucky on the river can really get the **** flowing!

After my bluff was called very very light by a particular villain I knew his money was there for the taking.  He was playing very LAG and I was ready to call him down mega light given the right opportunity.

Yeah.  Probably really spewy here.  I'll admit I didnt know the villain in question so thought he was capable of folding a bare pair!  I thought he was on a draw tbh as he normally he'd lead the flop with any pair.  Either way this hand actually proved profitable as in the following hour or so I was able to take it all back... and more.


I had worked out when he donk leads the turn, his hand was either a draw or some very weak hand which he was trying to rep bigger... so in the next hand I knew he was light and was looking for a fold.  Little did I know I was actually good!:

Verdict is that I should have bet the flop.  I thought playing an aggressive, proven bluffer, it was best to check and let him barrel worse as I wasnt getting value from much on the flop.  Nope.  Turns out he adjusted his range pre cause of our dynamic and had KK!  Woops.

Made a return to MTTs last night, playing the main and the mini.

Long Story short:

Rebought A LOT in main.

Cashed main.  Ran KK into 77 AIP and lost.  Went out soon after in 29th.

Still made a loss of £40.

Did not rebuy a lot in mini.

Cashed + FT mini.

Went out in 5th place with top two v turned FH.

Profit of £150.

+£110 for the night.

Good stuff, but would have been nice to capitilise on two deep runs.
