Raised UTG with J-J, both black, first hand I have played at this table since I arrived, two hours ago.
5 (FIVE) callers, flop came K-Q-4, all hearts.
White flag, next case.
Korean guy took it, don't trust him an inch, but not the easiest spot for me to lead out with the pot so big, two overs, three hearts, and half the table laying in wait.
Apparently the table Tikay is on is very loose and very aggro.
Awkward in some ways but also nice in others in that should he wake up with a monster there are likely gonna be a lot of plastic betting discs already in the pot for the taking.
Blinds 200/400/50a with something like an hour 40 to go.
So a guy opens for 1000 at 200/400/50. Another guy jams 8000 (20bb). The BB rejams 20,000 in chips.
The original opener SNAPS.
They turn over their hands. 20bb guy has 99. The BB rejam has AQ. The guy who has called the 2 all ins has T6off. He's horrified and claimed that he thought he had TT.
Board runs out J8457.
The 99 is celebrating the treble up. The T6 guy is still distraught from the misread and is kicking his chair. It takes 10/15 seconds for them both and the dealer to actually realise that the T6o has a 4 card straight.
Sorry for the poor quality but I only had a couple of seconds before the dealer scooped in the cards. Tikays stack is to the left of the coffee cup. http://tinypic.com/r/jkaw76/5

that is outstanding lol. This is the ME and not a frenzy satellite to a 5k BH yeah?
Well done on making Day 2 Tikay. That hand with the guy winning with 10-6 off suit made the updates on the main WSOP site. Also thanks to Ryan for all these updates.
As soon as the Day 2 table is published we'll start working on identifying the players
It's great to see Tony experiencing the Vegas Dream, and as he's now got through day 1 we should call him Edmund (Ryan must be Tenzing), as he continues his push further up this great trek to the top of poker's pinnacle. Good luck to all the other Sky & British players who look to join Tikay on the road to the bracelet.
Tony: 48 big blinds, the Derby Express isn't stopping anytime soon............
Thanks for the updates, the videos are brilliant. The pre registration video with the trip down the corridoor takes me back...(so want to go back in 2014!) Look forward to day 2 updates!
Out hero is in 458th with his just under 25000 stack.
The Mad Turk lies in 7th place. Plenty of other British names through to Day 2 inciuding Vicky Coren.
Also through : Steve Begleiter (former November Niner), Greg Merson, Ivan Demidov, Martin Staszko, Mike Matusow, Jake Balsiger, Mike Sexton, etc. etc. etc.
