Hi all,

It’s our first live show since the weekend’s fantastic 6-max SPT event. (Well done to Ian by the way). So we’re all fired up and ready to go this Tuesday night with plenty of chat about that and everything else you’d expect from...

Turbo Tuesday!

The show runs from 7pm to the stroke of midnight on Channel 861 and your hosts are: 

The bloke who battled for 5 hours on the SPT cash tables for a profit of minus £10.



Richard Orford

And the bloke who battled for 20 hours to make the SPT final table and a profit in the thousands...



Ryan Spittles

And our guest will be a a regular player on the site and a man who also ran deep in Nottingham: DirtyRott aka...



Tim Slater

This man comes highly recommended by none other than Julian Thew. He cashed in the SPT finishing 19th and came 3rd this month in the GUKPT Walsall leg. I met him in DTD and he seems like a nice chap who knows the game very, very well, so be sure to tune in for his take on things.
 
In the mix this Tuesday:

7pm – £20K Super Roller final table coverage from Sunday.
                                                                                                                                                   8pm 8pm- Live coverage from the 4K Turbo Open
 
9pm – The Poker Clinic - Requested hands from you guys, with the hole cards masked. Send ‘em in!
 
10pm – Live action from the Master Cash tables..
 
11pm – Live coverage from the 4K Turbo Open as we hit the final table and hopefully a winner!

All banter, questions, hand requests, SPT memories and the like will be gratefully received- either on this thread or via email skyopen@bskyb.com or via Twitter #skypoker

And we have a little prize on offer this time. Free entry into next week’s Turbo Tuesday main event. And it’ll go to the person who comes up with the best caption to this photo taken on the final table in Nottingham...

    Rather glad to see you back in one piece Rich.  

    We were getting rather worried about your soul and, more importantly, your capuccino after your marathon session on the cash tables.  We've offered some councelling sessions to the other players on your table after facing the wrath of the mighty Orford crushing.

    Great weekend and feeling the inevitable post-SPT blues.

    Hi Natalie,

    Thanks for your concern. You'll be glad to know I went easy on the players and resisited giving them the full Orford might. They got Orford-Lite. Only the Phil Iveys of the world get the full ammo from me.

    In fact, I was feeling so generous I butchered many of my hands and spread much of my chips around the table. Sometimes I think, you just have to give back to the tables you make millions from every week. You're welcome, world.

    Hi all - Well done Ryan on final tabling the weekend mate.

    Great SPT and great to meet the sky community and the sky crew, first time for me at DTD and was very impressed with the professional setup.

    For once I can actually now say " I met Rich Orford while sober at an SPT" lol

    Excellent weekend, cant wait for the next and congrats to Ian on taking it down, a true gentleman and great player - so well deserved!


    Very happy with my own 9th place finish out of 246 and will try not to donate on the cash tables later.
