    word of mouth
but as I have no independent confirmation, and was not a witness to it myself, it's not for me to repeat

Things like this happen all over the country and in all places etc, just part of life.

Yeah agreed. It won't affect the SPT, might just affect a few people who previously wanted to take part in certain legs but now won't be able to.

Ah... I kinda mis-interpreted the title.  Read it as though every sky poker player was banned.  Oops.

For the avoidance of doubt, Sky Poker events & players generally remain very welcome at DTD, & we will be back there in October.

To be honest, I've been in casino's when Sky Poker has been there. It seems as if a lot of Skypoker players do not get out much and their social skills are very much lacking.

Its like when you go out at christmas and the people who only go out at christmas come out, get drunk and make complete morons of themselves because they think its what you do when you're out.

An average night in a casino is not a lot of people getting drunk and shouting or thinking they're "railing" all night. Its embarrasing to watch. But yeah my view is a few who go to SPT's have a real issue in how to behave in a public, social event. Get some social skills training,

I was there Saturday & Sunday and 99.99% of peoples behaviour was impeccable.  Only saw one player where the demon drink had taken over and she was a nightmare

Can i say in pro of the venue, i was there late well after all/most sky players had gone on Sunday night. Every single member of staff and fellow players treated me extremely well.

I would certainly not hesitate to go back on any given weekend weather there was an SPT on or not. I would hope i would get a similar treatment

I know of the bans mentioned, i think in the cases drink was involved and i imagine they regret certain actions.

Around 95% of the times I have been to a casino or card room on a weekend night (Fri to Sunday) I have seen at least one person escorted to the door.  SPTs represent less than 5% of my combined weekend live casino experiences and at SPTs I have also seen local non Sky players asked to retire earlier than they had planned.

People get drunk, drunk people can be a pain in the backside, establishments dislike very drunk people to remain on their premises.  This is not new or news.

From my SPT visits 99.9% of people have been impeccably behaved and I find your post to be both misleading and unrepresentative of my and many others' SPT experiences.

The only way forward is to ban these people from future SPT events, seeing as we all represent Sky Poker on these weekends. The last thing you want is to have the event overshadowed by a couple of morons who cant control themselves. I think banning these people will send the correct message to the poker population.

Im hoping this is a joke. People drink too much and people make mistakes.  To come with an over the top reaction like a perma ban makes no social or business sense at all.  If need be have a yellow card red card system which is easy to implement.
