    It was fun last night.
After you lot slaughtered Geldmode 13 on Friday i was pleased to get some revenge last night.
saw a banterer in action so i decided to engage him in a convo for a few minutes. irony was clearly lost on him though.
90 hands with no A for macac eh? Looks like teeks has got one of those backdoor software switches. Either that or I've forgotten how to do maths as i certainly don't believe the answer.

I've never encountered anything like it! 90 is probably very conservative a guess. Throw in all the times that hands are simply folded around, it's way more than that. As I'm a bit weird, I was actually peeved when an ace finally turned up in game 4!  Anyway, enough of that, wasn't a moan, simply something super odd which I've never seen before.

i use solver to calculate a value of x that zeroes the equation. You could do it iteratively i suppose but I'm happy using solver.  Start with an x at 1 or similar (ie result of previous solution) and it will always find the correct root.

You do see some interesting plays.
    level 2 of a 3.30
utg limps in 30 out of a stack of 210
and then folds when i pot it, even though i had just doubled him up playing a hi only hand. What exactly was he hoping for?

Hi Tikay                Talking about poker sites taking liberties I am still trying to unlock my £1100.OO bank roll after 15 months with titanpoker I have sent over 200 emails back and forward trying to convince them on my identity any news on the documents I sent I think it is now time for me to speak to the press and see if they can accept some publicity

I agree, I've done all I can, but Titan refuse to answer e-Mails on the matter.

On the face of it, its disgraceful.

Not easy to concentrate last night whilst reading this sort of stuff in the chatbox, I nearly wet myself laughing.

Do you have a horse, then?

    Yes

    Cool

Well, I DID have a horse, but not any more.

    Oh, why?

    I ate it

The heater continues, or it did until the last 9 games, of which I managed to lose 9. Fortunately, most were @ £3.30, so it never wiped out the night's profit, but it's amazing how the swings & swongs seem out of our control. Losing 7 from 9, ugh.

Anyway, finished with a £23.40 profit on the night, from 44 games, so I'm happy with that.

Been a good weekend, really good. Played 141 games, won on all 3 nights, turned a profit of £116, & earned 1,492 Reward Points, just shy of my ambitious target of 1,500.

I might just have a squeak of making 3,000 Points this month now, am on 2,153, & have exactly 6 nights left when I'm available to play.

Really enjoyable weekend. I've never done 3 sessions like that before, to take advantage of the Double Points thing, & I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Maybe if I had lost a few bob, I'd have seen it a little less pleasingly......

I was deffo on a heater - until those last 9 games, anyway - so I need to be ready for the other side of variance to kick in now. Can't have one without the other.

    See you tonight.

Someone related a tale to me last night of the poor chap who ran his KK into AA. It's not nice, but it happens. If it has never happened to you, you ain't been playing long.

So, as per, he claimed Sky Poker was "rigged".

    The Tournament? The Birthday FREEROLL.

    Can't make this stuff up.

Quick shout out to HENDRIK62, who busted me about 6 times (or it felt that way) last night.

    Marv.

He seems to have converted to PLO8 lately, & is getting great results consistently. His hand ranges seem spot on, & he "gets" the strategy of PLO8 perfectly.

Long may it last. Preferably, not on my Tables, mind.

I'll see you at the tables in a while. Moving tomorrow into a flat and awaiting internet connection. Thought it best to let you know. Wouldn't want you to have trouble sleeping thinking I was ill or anything. I know how distraught you'd be at an unexplained absence. Fretting, off your game, eyes welling up with tears unable to see your screen.
Rigged, rigged? I love the 'IT'S RIGGED!' threads. Funniest reads on the internet!  Please stop explaining variance. Let them get on with it, you massive spoilsport you.

    ps. Do him Hendo!

    Longest heater ever, this.

Solid, if not spectacular, numbers last night, & so the heater is extended by another day. When Lady Variance wakes up & sees what has happened, her vengeance will be mighty.

Never mind, it's tremendous fun when we have these little runs.

Mixture of good & bad run last night, as always.

Lost an £11er in bizarre circumstances to the oddest play.

Minutes later, won an £11 one in equally odd circumstances. Two BIG stacks, plus me & A N OTHER both clinging on desperately with 2 Bigs each. And you know what happened - the 2 big stacks went to war, & the bigger one busted the other.

I see you laughed in the face of £1,700 and moved quickly on to dispatching £1,800. Not too shabby for an old dog!

I feel a bit uncomfortable reporting these numbers at the moment, it sounds a bit "chirpy", but I report ALL my daily Results, every single day, no matter how good or bad. And there have been plenty of bad.

A lot of the good numbers come as a result of daft play by others, rather than good play by me.

You need not just "play your hands", but LOOK AT THE STACK SIZES of the other players, too.

If you have 5,000 @ 300-600, & the other Big Stack raises into you, do you really need to take him on? FOLD!

It feels intuitively wrong to pass up a good hand, but it's Omaha, & you are NEVER that far ahead.

In one game last night, 4 handed & with a ton of chips, I twice folded A-A-2-x pre-flop. Why get involved?

In another game, Blinds were a monsta 400-800, I had over 5,000 chips, & the Big Blind had TWO Big Blinds. I had A-A-2-K, & was, quite obviously, attacking the mini-stacked Big Blind, & potted it. (2,800).

And then.......the Small Blind, playing 3,000 moved all in. WHAT?!

The BB, obviously, folded, & high-fived the Small Blind.

Mr Small Blind had A-10-10-4. Did he REALLY think I'd open with worse, in those circumstances?
