Got a hand here from Mastercash 4... do you think this is pure spew? I figured my line looked so strong especially 3way and there are very few hands villian can possibly call the river with (I would even expect villian to fold what he had)
As some of you will know, I did play against a pro once.... it was Dave Shallow at the SPT in Aspers, Stratford. I'd been bossing the table until he came along and then he just completely took over, literally opening or 3betting near enough every single hand.
It resulted in probably the most embarrassing situation of my live career. I backed off for a bit and let him do his thing, but eventually made a stand against him and essentially made a big river bluff with K7 (king high), he thought about it for a long time and eventually made a hero call, I instantly mucked my hand cos knew I couldn't have the best hand... he tables K4 (also King high). So he'd hero called with King high and the real sickener... it wasn't even a chop cos my kicker player and I'd have won
Lesson learnt that day... NEVER muck your hand until you've been shown a better one.
You'll have to forgive me for taking so long to say this. I don't have to deal with women very often. Obviously.

Yeah thanks, it was lovely, although the best bit was getting to the hotel, putting pjs on, and ordering a massive sandwich, I don't think I ate for about a month before, and I was tiny! Put all of that back on and more on hols though We were lucky with a perfect sunny day! Didn't fall over, forget any words or embarrass myself, (except for full on skidding and falling on my behind on the dance floor). All in all fun. Although I wouldn't want to do it again!!
