There once was a Limerick in Whitstable

The first line had too many syllables

    The second was good

    But most people would

Think, this man is not so invincible

There once was a bloke who was bluffy

He had 2-J off against Duffy

    Neil Channing said "gosh"

    "That geezer ain't posh"

"The stain on his trousers is scruffy"

Poker Limericks is a thread that i started
Just for fun and a little light hearted
    Some contributions have been sublime
    Others don't even rhyme
    Well done all, much appreciated

There once was a geezer called Vespa

the salt of the earth, and the pepper

    He looked for a laugh

     and found it by half

so it's a shame my one rhyme is a leper

    Oh oynutter oynutter
How we marvel at the words that you utter
    Your delicate prose
Must take an age to compose
If i were a lady you would make my heart go a-flutter

    That VespaPX is a flirt

If only his bits were quite pert

    I'll imagine they are

    and see just how far

He would go if I were a pervert

Oh how these guys crack me up
    Oynutter and Vespa must sup
    A gallon a day
    They must put away
I think they both win the cup.

There was a young man that's a rock

Who covered a thing with a sock

    We knew what it was

    But only because

It was in the same place as his clock

That Paige is a wonderful lass
Quite close to her bus pass
Some say she's as daft as a brush
But you wouldn't tell her to hush
Because she just has too much class

A lass is not quite what she is

And not even is she a miss

    The bus pass can wait

    I think it's too late

she cannot sit down and not p --------------- [ffs--no more ink]

That last verse was somewhat a risk

That Paige has a powerful whisk

    How sorry I felt

    It's below the belt

I'd better protect with a disc
