Now, to the best of my knowledge, there's no major soccer match on Thursday night, so you have NO excuse not to join us for our next five-hour live show. The fun begins at 7pm on 861, and at 10pm on Sky Sports 4.

And here's what we've got planned for you lovely people...

7pm - An hour of Sit & Go coverage (celebrating Double Rewards)

8pm - The Poker Clinic (please send in hands and strategy questions)

9pm - Top of the Pots

10pm - Sixty minutes of live Master Cash hands

11pm - Highlights from the £15k Sky Sports Bounty Hunter

Analysing the action is...

Redmond 'lolufold' Lee!

***UPDATE: As I'm on my sick bed, Mr Orford will be handling proceedings tonight. So, expect a brand new show topic. Richard, it's over to you!***

Im sure we've had this topic before.  I think Orford got there ahead of you a few weeks back...

I said something about my biggest achievement being cashing in my first ever live poker event - SPT Notts.

I won a free BH seat... but low and behold I wasn't free that night so gave it up to someone else...

    My greatest poker achievement?

Serious answer: winning the Sunday side event at my first SPT in Newcastle last month.

Bluff answer: a dealer named Katie :)

I laughed so much when I remembered how funny my greatest poker achievement was, I forgot what it was--- now it's obscure

Actually--- It was being shown on the final table of the open when Norman Pace said---"OYNUTTER!-- What a great name" ---- great comedian--- and one of my comic heros----- still very funny-- but somewhat obscure these days.

Nicking my show topics, James?  I'd be really hacked off if it wasn't due to hero-worship. So, I'll let you off.

Can you get Redmond to say "Yo, Mr. White! Yeah poker! B****!" as many times as possible throughout the show?

    Thanks.

    Are you sure?

Our colleagues at Sky Sports have their own ideas...

I don't like the sport either, James - give me a spot of tennis any day - but perhaps 'Soccer Saturday' is so-called purely for the alliterative quality. Otherwise they'd have to stick it on a Friday :)

Ah, now we might have found something we agree on.

The great game, THE greatest game on the planet is indeed called football...

Please explain why its called football as they hardly ever use their feet to kick the ball !
Haven't our American friends enough imagination to come up with an original name of their own?

Football is the name for the great global sport that the US calls 'soccer'.

Grid-Iron is the term to be used for the sport that is the American Watered Down Version of Rugby.

Please stick to these definitions in future...

    Cheers,
    TEDDY
