Such as I am able, I'll try & field all reasonable questions here, may not always be immediately, but certainly within 24 hours, sooner if urgent. I'll also list those who qualify, as & when. Tomorrow morning latest, the first qualifier's name will be in the thread. Posted by Tikay10

I would love to qualify for this, just a couple of problems 1, I am rubbish at satellites 2, If I was lucky and won through,I would be scared stiff as I have never played live poker and would probably be easy pickings for the real poker players out there!! This will not stop me trying though and I wish everyone trying the very best of luck Nick

Scared stiff? Nothing wrong with a bit of nerves, Nick.
Little story.
I've played 3 PLO8 WSOP Events in the last 18 months. At the start of each one, I was so nervous/excited/scared (combo of all 3) that my hands were visibly shaking & trembling. It was worst of all in the $1,500 last year.
Poker players being the people they are, commented on this, & indulged in some gentle mocking & eye-rolling. It was so bad, I had to sit out for 20 minutes, go & get a coffee, until I calmed down a bit.
It's perfectlyu natural for some of us, you & me included. You'll be just fine one you settle down, I promise. I'll be there anyway, & if you are uncomfy, come se me & I'll help settle you.

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere and I have missed it but, if you are lucky enough to win a seat into the main event via the satellites will you be able to choose which Day 1 you play?

Hi Sweety,
Good question. We are currently wrestling with this one, but will make a decision in the next few days.
The equation is this.....
Most players usually prefers Day 1b. As a result, 1a is often half empty, & the "SOLD OUT" signs go up on Day 1B, & players get turned away. Neither is satisfactory to anyone.
The decision will be made shortly, & we'll make everyone aware, here & elsewhere.
okay. boom. i'm back... this is mine i'ma start a blog here as well now to document my road map to £110K in Feb. Baw... pa... pa... cha... wow... waw!! Posted by TPTP123
The first of the Weekly Finals, this Sunday, already has 21 runners, with 1 in 5 getting the £1,100 seat, so 5 are guaranteed a place already. Between now & then, there will be 23 zillion Feeders & Satelltes into that, so am hopeful of a big number.
It's only Saturday morning, & Sunday's Final already has 28 runners, with 1 in 5 getting a £1,100 Seat.
There will be more satellites, Feeders & whatnots than you can shake a stick at between now & 9.15 pm Sunday, so this could very easily make 50 or 60 runners, meaning 10 or 12 £1,100 seats to be won.
20% of the field will win one of those £1,100 Seats to the Sky Poker UK Poker Championship Main Event, which has a £500,000 Guarantee, & a 6 figure number up top.

Watch this thread in the morning for details of how some seats can be won tomorrow evening, too.....

It sucks to be old, it really does. Still, at least I survived to be old!

Good luck with getting a seat!
We got another Qualifier last night, when "sammy550" won the Rebuy Super Sat, so the lobby is getting mighty crowded now......
