I really enjoyed this game, even though i go against a villian who has been re-raising for a good while on a new table, i have 20bb he raises i bet all-in either steal the pot or double up and make the money for sure(well no garrentee's)
Well he only has pocket aces... and they hold lol annoying but i suppose variance is not with me.... all these days lol
ok i been playing this brm for about a week and im constantly losing, this does suggest im not a good player... ok i can accept i need to improve but ****... about every game im getting sucked out on no matter what stacks ... if i dont call then i cant play as about every all in i have called i have been sucked on and only a few times i have held strong, ok i know you dont remember the wins like the losses but come on variance! or luck in disguise! lol
im down to 2.20 br
.... looks like i have a month before ill even let my self re-start lol

Are you sure you're using good BR management? The last time you said your BR you had £8.10, but on playday five you said you entered a £2.20 Deepstack tournament - that's being quite aggressive with your bankroll.
When I started my diary with £10, I was only entering 30p tournaments until I reached £20.
Hi peter, I just went on shark scope to look at my history and im not doing bad I guess average profit betweens us is 5p ... about 25p with craigcu12 ... larson7 about 50p ... sorry checking you all out just curious about myself more than anything
Funny how I cant win right now yet all mentioned seem to be lol
44 vs qq - as already said just unlucky to run into qq but the right shove.
AA vs 79 - reraise a lot bigger preflop say to 600 at least!
A2 vs Q5 - Fold pre you have over 4k in chips - why get involved?! if you really do wish to play this hand then why call down every street with just ace high?
KK vs q9 - raise and reraise a lot bigger!!!!! I'm going 90-120 for my open then probably just shoving when villain reraises.

Thanks for input,
I call down A2 because of the low price and straight draw, I miss but still call the low bet on the end so i could get a read on hands pre flop he will call and his betting play ... not the best plat .. thinking of implied odds if I hit
With the kk I played it wrong, that occasion my laptop was slow so I was just trying to raise asap lol
So I need to raise bigger in general and tighten when blinds vs stack are high ?

ABC poker is all you need for the low value dyms. If you're stack is big, say 3.5k and up, there's no need to get involved with marginal hands like A3. You should be able to fold your way to victory more times than not. Let the rest fight it out!
I also wouldnt get into the habit of calling bets to hit gutshot straights. You'll only hit around 8% of them on the turn and 16% of them by the river. So you'll rarely get the correct pot odds to call with them. Remember also your implied odds in DYM's will also be less because people tend to (should) play tighter.
There's people way way better than me that may advise you differently but that's my take on it if it's of any use to you.
Ok so last night I was pressed first for time but managed 2 games
6 Max 50p x 2 (2nd,2 nd)
Now im back upto £ 3.20
I was using bigger bet sizing 3 x bb + even at late stages, now I feel I could of done better and came first but I lost concentration and havent played alot of heads up so next goal is to get my br up and play some heads up lol

I was showing progression on Sharkscope, but special deposits for UKOPS and the Turbo Tuesday events a few weeks ago messed up my stats when I didn't cash in them -.-
Today i played 2 games and lost out on 10p thanks to rake lol
2 x 6max speed (2nd,4th)
Game was very laggy missed out on 2 big hands, may of helped my get better finishes but cant be helped, dont mind losing 10p though as its all about the fun for now atleast
feel variance (mother poker) has cut me a little slack for now...
IIRC this was a 6 max speed? Personally, I'm folding pre. Why are you raising flop? Why you betting turn? Why you all-in on river? You are ONLY getting called by better me thinks?
Altho it's "Speed" we need to pick our spots. Says an expert who FORGOT it was speed and later went all-in 3 x handed thinking I was guaranteed 3rd place in a DYM! Went out 3rd! with 2 x places paid! Dohhhh!
So climbing back upto my £9.50 stack, will go upto £1 games when i get to £15
i dont think my game is getting better, just maybe im getting some good hands vs hands... possibly playing more has made a little known in 6max 50p bi and i get some fold respect .... who knows lol

I was playing rather loose and the table was a little tight so thought... looking at straight/flush draws and hands i get called by would generally pre-flop be premium of j10o plus, flop comes low cards cant see much connecting with the board, i have open end straight draw so continue bet only called so i think hmmm maybe pockets ? k comes i think, i bet, a made flush raises me or higher pair does, iv commited chips now and dont think opponent has a good hand, 7 comes cant put him on trips so i think i go all in i can bluff 2 pair off because he possibly puts me flush, trips, 2pair, nothing hand... i played it poorly but i just thought hmmm very good read on my play if thats what made a call or a poor call getting paid off
i dont like dym... atleast not right now lol lost most my br playing them lol

You did notice the flop was 578s rite? Not only could he be "connected" he could be a "made guy"! (Donnie Brasco) ;-)
