I'VE JUST BEEN SLOW ROLLED

edited December 2009 in Poker Chat

For the first time ever on Sky i have just been slow rolled.

Some random new player ( I won't name them ) raised 3x

I went all in with QQ

He let the timer drop to absolute minimum before calling with AA

He was not having disconnection problems and had done it deliberatly. I also had not chatted at all during the game.

I'd like to wish him a merry xmas.

He may have been putting the kids to bed, shaking the snake, grabbing a beer, or a million other things that happen when you're playing at home.

Or he could have been a smarmy little gob5h1te.

I believe in poker karma.  He'll get his.  Mark my words...

(Just to clarify: I mean he'll suffer some horrific bad beat in a future game.  I'm not suggesting someone's going to do his kneecaps with a hammer or anything like that!)

I agree Bigbluster these are normally possibilities.

However he'd also spent the game slagging off other players on the table for poor play. You're last comment seems accurate.

    It's tempting Razor but no.
However in a lovely twist of fate i'm pleased to report that they only just missed the money tonight. Comedy.

This also happened to me yesterday! I was playing a HU, was short stacked and went all in with 5 2c - timer to almost zero  then call with AA...
    I rivered the flush lol
but lost 2 hands later :o/

aww come on its not that bad is it?
i like the tension of waiting to see if the other guy is going to fold, its all part of the fun...
he could of gone to the loo though,i have come back to the pc many times and just caught/missed big pocket cards...

i'm not bothered if they wait until the last minuete as it does not effect how the hand pans out....

He made initial raise, he aint going to see aces make a raise then go loo, but i agree there are times when this could/does happen

I'm not that bothered Daveyzz, it's just bad etiquette. He also had no connection or toilet issues as he'd been slagging other players off seconds before.

    Anyway, he's with God now.

lol nice one...it is always possible that he has been beat with aces so many times on here that he was trying his hardest to fold but could;nt bring himself to do it lol
