In Response to Re: any1 else sick of getting completely robbed : The highlighted bit is way off imo. Re-read what I wrote regarding the fact that you see 1000's more hands online then you do live so you will see 1000's more bad beats. Also, I have never seen anybody question the dealers shuffle in all the hours of live poker that I have watched.

Play at my local on a Saturday night and deal AK/JQ/JQ/JQ  with a flop of AK10 and a turn of K - believe me, you will have some comments regarding your ability in shuffling the cards.

Just thought maybe you were being a bit silly to think what you see on tv is how live poker is. Its not thats all. Its heavily edited for entertainment reasons. You see like 10 hours of a 3-7 day torney or cash game. you see like 1500 hands out of 10000 etc, etc - you never see, the players going on brakes? the players going for a wonder?
The players winging to the dealers? Even the players calling the floormen to windge.

Currently, there is a post  on the forum discussing the following hands. 4 players holding:  AK /  JQ / JQ / JQ  Flop: A / K /10 Turn: K An example of why some players become frustrated with the so called - random number generator. I do not believe that it is unreasonable to state that these cards do not appear “random”.  However,  as indicated by Waddle any negative comments directed at the RNG will receive ridicule and abuse. What in fact we should be discussing is how the **** these hands get away with very little comment.

that's like saying the lottery is rigged if it comes out with
    1 2 3 4 5 6
whereas that has just as much right to be the winning hand as any other random combination
just because it looks fihy doesn't mean it is

Hands up all those with a + ROI who think Skypoker is rigged. That'll be a big fat zero then

Highlighting a cooler type hand from an all in sat doesn't really add any weight to a 'flops to generate action' theory, kind of goes against it if anything, I mean showing that these things just happen but tend to stick in the memory a bit more.

    It means "return on investment".

Well i've got a -ROI at the moment and will probably stay that way for a long time. Do i think that sky poker is rigged? No i don't.

Have i ever given it much thought? No i haven't.

Look, what i'm trying to say is, why would sky poker rig the games in the first place? They make an absolute fortune out of the rake so why take a chance on getting caught rigging the RNG.

I'm sorry if you think you're getting short shrift about this and i realise that you are standing up for the original poster and his right to say what he thinks but it always comes down to the point of why play if you think you are being cheated?

Anyway back to the tables. Don't want to be late, got a royal flush against 4 Aces coming in at 11.30!

lol I knew what ROI meant. Mine is curently +8.5 i think, needs improvement i know!

Look, Ive been playing live poker for years and for the most part ive been making a living. I came to sky poker only two months ago after i was reffered by a fella player whom i wont name as he still plays on here. I set myself a challenge to start with next to nothing and build up enough to free roll any future online games .i.e major monthly mtt's etc. As a reasonably new player to online, i started with all hope and with my 'live' game plan! I lost! I lost again! ohh and i lost again!

As anybody can, i was steaming! i came on to these forums, hot blooded and annoyed! and almost immidiately i recieved abuse for claiming it was rigged! (Which i never have) I have said 'feel like the unluckiest player online' and 'did he know something i didnt?'

However a selected few very well respected players on this forum, didnt heckle me or make me feel like rubbish for steaming, instead they offered compassion and there advise! They explained the differences between live and online and how i needed to adapt my game. This to me, is how everyone should be! we shouldnt jump at someone even if they do complain or acuse the site, and it makes me laugh how some of these players who rush to comment, do so in a way which is so belittling and they dont even stop to think, hang on these complainers are our customers, our cream! should we upset them? or should we try to get them back on the felt?

Can i also say, in live poker its the 'poker gods' against these unlucky players Online its the 'site' NO amount of laughing at and abusing these players will ever change that!

Now im sure that some of you regular haters will pull this apart, question every bit, laugh and joke as you do! but i tell you what, how about instead of posting it on here, you private message me with it?
