In Response to Re: any1 else sick of getting completely robbed : It means "return on investment". Well i've got a -ROI at the moment and will probably stay that way for a long time. Do i think that sky poker is rigged? No i don't. Have i ever given it much thought? No i haven't. Look, what i'm trying to say is, why would sky poker rig the games in the first place? They make an absolute fortune out of the rake so why take a chance on getting caught rigging the RNG. I'm sorry if you think you're getting short shrift about this and i realise that you are standing up for the original poster and his right to say what he thinks but it always comes down to the point of why play if you think you are being cheated? Anyway back to the tables. Don't want to be late, got a royal flush against 4 Aces coming in at 11.30! Posted by YOYOY
Good grief - instead of moaning, name calling, etc... just play . People believe what they want to believe whether it is true or not. They haveto learn the truth for themselves - if there is a provable truth. I'm all for a friendly debate but these things get - for want of a btter word - childish. Play or leave - simple.
In Response to Re: any1 else sick of getting completely robbed : Tell you what! How about... you leave me alone, dont comment on or about any of my posts/hands and or anything to do with me! NOBODY cares about what you think of me and my opinions! i can say and post what ever i like, whenever i like unless Sky poker bans or blocks me! when the forum is called Brags, BEATS and Variance, dont be surprised that many a player will post about there beats. Now please, i ask you, oh great wonderful smart man! Can u find a way to please, in the nicest possible way GO AWAY Posted by Waddell93
Ive just spend 4 hours trying to qualify for the UKPC, to be outdrawen on the bubble of the semi final with a 75-25 shot, outdraws galore. I acutally knew I was going to be outdrawn its so predictable and the cards arent random end of. Ive also being outdrawn on all dyms today again not even with 50-50 shots.

I wouldn't play that hand if I ''actually knew'' I was going to be outdrawn.

To the resident experts on RNG and the constant abuse aimed at those cynical about sky's product, you should provide factual evidence that the RNG performs in relation to expected probability. Sky won't provide the information when you ask for it and the providers of the software have a disclaimer in place that effectively frees them from any responsibility with regard to performance of it. Why would they do that? This is why: there are 80,000,000,000000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,,000,000,000,000 possible shuffles from a 'real' deck of cards and sky software cannot get anywhere near that with their RNG product. That means that 'all expected probability is 'skewed' and the best they can claim is that it is 'random', whatever that is supposed to mean? Sky poker forum a friendly community? Bunch of moronic sycophants pi55ing up each others backs and telling each other its raining. Metaphorically speaking of course!
100 now?! Anyway here's my tuppence worth. I for one have been through some tough variance in the last few weeks and have, as a result, been quite 'active' in the chat box! Never abusing other players but certainly bemoaning my luck. How many of you for example can boast of going out of the main event with QUADS..... TWICE! The last one being all in pre with KK called by AQ and the board runs out AAAxx! And yes I got fed up with being hit by 2 and 3 outers and runner runner outdraws.
Remember if you get your chips in good EVERY time , you are going to get some bad beats.
Anyway yesterday seemed to be going the same way and I went out of 3 tourneys in quick succession to bad beats. I nearly turned off the computer but put £3 into one of the high roller all in sats and WON it! I was actually sorely tempted to deregister and cash the £110 as I was running soo bad. However I decided to play it and after limping along with a small stack for most of the tourney then managed to cash. Not only that but then final tabled ending up 6th for a profit of about £1,200. I didn't run brilliantly but did win one hand with A 10 v A K and had overpairs all in pre 4 times in the money which ALL held! I eventually went out to Solack (who went on to win it, congratulations, very, very well played) who rivered his ace BUT had gone in ahead with A4 against my KJ so it wasnt even a bad beat.
Sorry it's a long post I know but the moral is you have to take the bad spells in order to appreciate the good times.

I have never ever witnessed ANYTHING like I have witnessed on Skypoker recently. Tend to play DYM (£11) and play pretty tight. Last night on the bubble get QQ under the gun. Blinds 100/200. Raise to 500 (with about 2500 chipstack) and get put all in by SB (1300 chips). Call. Hes got 5,5. He hits on flop. Im down to around 1200 chips. 2 hand slater get Q,Q in SB. Fold to me and I go All In. Get called by BB (who had about 2000 chips) who has J,Q. Flop comes down with J in it. Yes you know what the river was!!!
Tonight get KK in BB with blinds 50/100. Dealer has roughly 2000 chips. I have around 1850. Dealer raises to 200. I reraise to 500. He calls. Flop comes down 3,5,7 (rainbow). He checks. I go all in (actually putting him on AA at this stage but (commited) and he calls. 4,4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Turn? I could even stomach a 4!!!! But no a 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how much money would you lose at poker if you played like that over a period of time? and can you think of the last time you played live and anybody played like that?!!!
