In Response to Re: Sky Poker UKPC Day 3 updates : Chatting to him, it sounds like he had a few good hands (AK etc) that didnt improve and his stack dwindled a bit leaving him in a spot where he had about 8bb and decided to shove. Sure the £3,500 will soften the blow. Posted by Sky_Poker

Can anyone tell me how tikay is doing or has done? thanks Posted by aok25
He came second in the only event he played - the PLO side event.
About ten people have asked him today 'where did you finish?' (knowing he was in with a shot) to which his reply every time has been 'I won it'. I would say about 90% of people believed him straight away and congratulated him on his 'win']

Tikay trying to pull a fast one. Typical. 2nd not a bad result though.

DO THEY NOT KNOW HIM?!
Boatman calls
The board runs out Q-J-4-5-10
Spencer triple barrels, called on flop and turn and there is a long dwell before Barny folds to a whopping 385,000 on the river
This is a big 900,000 pot for the chip lead
Four cameras watch the action. Some railbirds crane over the barrier as Barny thinks
Barny folds
Spencer shows 7-6
A rippling murmur passes through table 15 and surrounding environs
"Nice bet" says Barny "Well played"
Mr Spencer, it has to be said, maybe 21 years old give or take a year, looks some prospect....
See yesterdays thread for details
Giiovanni Brandi, looking like a bearded Florentine Polar Bear with a bushy beard under a snow white hoodie, calls in the big blind with A-J
The flop is a beauty for Sevens, 6-5-8
2 on the turn
Jack on the river to knock Banks out 29th
I am standing next to Banks and I can almost feel the air exhaled from his body as the Jack falls. He's crestfallen
Brandi meanwhile, screams "Come on!" like an advert Italian commentator at the ceiling
Matas Cimbolas raises to 40,000
Giovanni Brandi 3 bet the button to 120,000
Cimbolas 4 bet uber-shove for 750,000
CALL
Cimbolas 4-4
Brandi A-K
Fours hold to send the 1.6m pot Cimbolas' way
Brandi, on this occasion, doesn't shout at the ceiling and he is now short-stacked
Cimbolas now has over 2m
He is a direct buy in, originally from Lithuania now living in London
Early 20s in age
blinds go 12-24k when we return
775,000 average
