Sky Poker "Bug-Catcher"

Hi Everybody,

Today we shall be introducing a new challenge we are calling the Sky Poker "Bug-Catcher".

Any player who spots a "bug" in the Tournament schedule shall be Awarded £10 in Tournament tokens. 

If you spot a "bug" please post it on this thread. Only mentions in this thread shall be contenders for the £10 Tournament prize.

Rules for the “Bug-Catcher”


-Players will only be awarded a prize if the ‘bug’ is identified to be regarding communication of the tournament specific details in the Tournament name or Tournament blurb such as incorrect mention of blind levels, starting stack, tournament prizes and late registration etc.


·        --If the ‘bug’ is not related to the running of the Tournament then no prize shall be awarded. e.g. trivial errors such as grammar and punctuation do not count.

 

         -Lack of description in the blurb unless absolutely necessary to the function of the tournament shall not merit an award.

 

·         -Players must be the first mention of this ‘bug’ on this to be awarded.

 

·        --The prize will be awarded for a single ‘bug’, multiple errors on identically named tournaments at differenttimes shall count as a single ‘bug’ (e.g a ‘bug’ discovered in the £20k Roller Direct at 4.15pm and 4.30pm shall be defined as a single ‘bug’).

 

·          -The award shall be £10 worth of Tournament/Sit and Go tokens.

 

Rules for Posting


 -Multiple posts about a single ‘bug’ may be removed.


·          -Players must quote either the exact tournament name or tournament ID within the post.

 

·          -Successful players shall be recognised by PM before their prize is awarded.

    umm, there's currently "No Prizes" in todays Social Freeroll even though the prizepool is £100 and there's 216 registered.

    Just noticed that there is late reg available for the regular (not guaranteed) PLO MTT's but no late reg for PLO8 ones.

    Not sure if its a bug or done for a reason.

    op 3 players win seats into the £30,000 UKOPS X Main Event at 8pm on Sunday 20th April. Players start with 200 chips and get a FREE 2,000 chip rebuy at any point in the first 40 minutes. 10 minute blinds. Late reg is open until the end of level 4.

    Just to let you know i messaged SkyPeter to check this thread.
    This was the reply.

    "I have been monitoring this thread regularly and thank you for your contribution.

    The Bug-Catcher thread was introduced to give players the opportunity to win a prize based on the communication of the tournament information to players. Only comments that have won an award are to be contacted through private messaging. Unfortunately the comments you have given do not count for a prize as described below:

    1. Omaha (Hi-Lo) late registration. While this may be odd to see this was intentionally implemented a while ago with late registration on the non-guaranteed PLO tournaments only recently introduced.

    2. After researching into the Heads-Up PLO8 Sit and Go and viewing the finer details it appears that the blind levels were correctly issued in that sit and go. Though this may have been seen in the lobby it did not effect the actual running of the tournament and was not a result of incorrect communication through the blurb of the title. This shall be kept an eye on though.

    We really go appreciate your input, although the 'bugs' that do win prizes are in reference to a bug in the "Tournament name" or "Tournament Blurb" as mentioned in the initi

    Hi, MAXALLY,

    This satellite was actually to feed players into the £30,000 Mega Roller coming up this Sunday (May 4th) at 8pm which can be found in the lobby. There were various £30,000 Mega Roller satellites run throughout the day as well as satellites into £20,000 Super Roller that Sunday, the £30,000 Mega Roller satellite mentioned above did pay out correctly into the £30,000 Mega Roller.

    Whilst we do not usually pay out for lack of information mentioned in the blurb, the actual date should have been mentioned to avoid any confusion. Therefore a prize will be awarded and future satellites shall have the date mentioned.

    MAXALLY if you would like to pm me with the £11 tournament of your choice I shall have you entered.

    Not sure if it's a 'bug' as such but tonights UKPC free seats freeroll is scheduled to start 15 minutes before the target tournament.
