Decided to take on a 60p DYM in standard speed, and although I felt I played it well, didn't quite get the luck and came in 4th, but LOST - thereby my bankroll took a serious hit, after hitting £2.20 at it's highest at one stage.
Played another chunk of 30p DYM's and won my next two, meaning I was SIX STRAIGHT in this type of game but I eventually ended up losing in three of them, and given that I only DYM'd in 4 I ended up the evening on a fairly substantial loss
30p TURBO DYM
PLYD: 7
WON: 4
LOST: 3
NEW B/R £1.30 (Variance -70p)
What I have JUSt noticed is that without the 60p S&G I would have emerged today with just a -10p, which I feel is a fair reflection on my games today.
NB:-I had around 1200 chips left after stupidly betting into an opponent with AJ off, and losing around 2/3rds of my stack (had around 3.5k in chips before).
My Exit hand, I was dealt aces and shoved immediately. I was called by an opponent who had paired 9's.. I was doing OK until the river come's and it was a NINE!

SUND 6th Session 2:
30p DYM's
PL 4
CSHD 1
LOST 3
VAR £-0.70
NB:- WELL, bankroll challenge #1 "Build up from £5 F/R winnings" has come to an abrupt end, after my last two sessions have resulted in a serious loss to my BR - since I started monitoring it around 1wk ago, I hit the heady hight's of £2.40 on thursday afternoon, I've lost many S&G's although I also blame myself for wrongly stepping upto a 60p dym and losing that as well.
I've also hit some rock bottom luck tonight, being dealt aces and ending losing the hand both times!!!
Am now possibly going to make myself a desposit for the first time onto sky poker so I can continue to enjoy playing on the site, and probably to re-start my challenge again from scratch.
First gameplay since my demoralising losses recorded recently in 30p DYM. Was a late registrant, after I was unavailable at 2pm thanks to men turning up to deliver our new/replacement dishwasher, meant I was away from my M/C at the tourney start!!!
Thought I did quite well - Event was a turbo 3min blind afair, but courtesy of a nice pot mid-way through and lasted into the 3min Scheduled break. It was a re-buy but you have to pay 50p for more chips which I always don't do because of the trade-off value of these against the winnings on offer.
I think I may have lasted long enough to cash on this one, had I decided to shove my Pocket 8-8's although found it difficult to follow through after I had another playr shove in front of me - began to think he/she had a higher pair - HAD I shoved, I might have got lucky, who knows?
Restored a little faith & confidence in my game - let's see how the turbo open goes later tonight?

What sort of posting are you after Alex?
Hands from this afternoon's FREEROLL, or my DYM's? general winning/Losing Hands?
If so where do you want them - On here or in the Poker-Clinic section of the forum??
I have had to heavily edit this because at present, the site is not uploading the playing card graphics, just showing them as web-links, so have written these in
Have only Just noticed this, but something tells me in this hand, my Oppy had flopped a flush?
This next hand, is my exit hand from saturday's G/N freeroll event. Here i was dealt aces and ran into a set of queens, anything I could have performed different here or just bad luck/bad beat?
I have discovered if you drag & drop into XL it makes life much easier for editing purposes, Just need to remember the suit's involved - Here in this situation I am again having my AA's outdrawn, this time toward the end of a 30p DYM.
Whenever you get it in pre with AA, in theory you can't really have done much/anything wrong. So I wouldn't concern yourself with your bullets being cracked.
The 88 hand is a shove pre flop, you have 1.5 big blinds. One of the most important things in tournament poker always be aware of stack size relative to the blinds. Don't worry about the AA hands, you got them in pre flop, that's the best scenario. Just got outdrawn and unlucky.

£5000 "Turbo Open" Main Event
I took part in tonight's turbo open, as I had a free-entry into it - I've played it before having played on 18th March, and finished aprox 130th some 50 spots off the money.
Survived until break no1 with around 3000 chips to my name, having played i felt pretty well.
Played pretty much survival poker and got my chips ALL-IN on a few occasions and got lucky more than once! I had J-K Just a couple of minutes before the second break, and I noticed the player amounts were going down rapidly towards the bubble - was my luck going to change? YES!! My J-K held out and I went to the break with around 2.8k in chips.
Noticed the table pause before and I thought...have I done it??? Game info showed 74 left in, but a quick comment in the chat bar, made me realised I HAD! Lobby confirmed it, I had CASHED in the MAIN EVENT!
Got me chips in with 9-6 Suited and they held and I had 5.5k of chips, two hands later it was all over, having been elimintaed with my KK's being outdrawn by A-J. I wasn't too bothered as I had "Won" and the comments showed I was paid out £21.17
What a difference a few days make! My confidence feels like it's been restored a little, now what games to play? 4NL? DYMs? or more MTT's (Am def thinking about spending 10% of my winnings and give that £2.20 deep stack a try!)
