in DYMs many players seem to want to be first, others just want to cash.
some players have no idea that 123 all get the same.
when someone has either sat out or lost their connection,it is fair to steal their blinds.
now no chat should EVER pass between players, but if seasoned players see someone sat out and has only a few chips left, it makes sense to flat call then check it down. Is this cheating or colluding ? i think not.
as long as NO CHAT HAS PASSED BETWEEN PLAYERS.
DYMs are strange games anyway, some of the worst play ever happens at these tables, i was in 2 £5.50
DYMs last night and in both games the chip leader went out, simply because they wanted to play and bled chips all over the place.
So carry on taking chips as and where you can, BUT NEVER USE THE CHAT BOX,

Heres one for tikay to answer.
£5.50 DYM, 4 players left, chip leader has a massive chip lead, the short stack has sat out.
every time the short stack was on the b/b he folded and let him get the blinds.
as i was 2nd short stack this was putting real pressure on me.
he said in the chat box that he thought this was hillarious, and that he would let the guy who was away win.
    Now is that collusion ?
or just some stupid drunken idiot having fun ??
thats when i stopped playing DYMs
i have started playing again just for the DYM challenge, as of now im 2 for 2

Why have you posted on the forum asking for opinions if your just going to dismiss them anyway?

I had a similar thing last night when the site went down, (only playing dym's for chall)

There was 5 left and 2 aways, the 2 aways were shorter stacked than the 3 seated players.

1 player said, I'm not doing anything silly here guys... none of us replied to that but knew the drill of what was being implied. I didn't get any hands TBH yet I did chuck in the odd raise on the seated players early on and saw they were just folding to the cash so lost interest in the game.

There was simply zero point in me playing against away players, altho right at the end I did say that I hoped the away players contacted CC re this as it obviously isn't fair.

He didn't say call/fold but just not to be silly.... Would you still class this as cheating or merely being sensible?

DISagree completely. So you & me are 1-1. ;)

Not collusion, & I doubt he was drunk - it is Level 3 thinking, & good thinking at that.

That one - imo - is a little bit marginal.

He sort of hinted, rather than actually "say the words".

I have to disgree with Tikay here, He states it is a DYM bubble, therefore there is zero advantage in folding your small blind to the away player, as you are certain to win if you raise when folded to you in the SB, and fold otherwise. This way you are risking not winning, and the only benifit is that you allow another player to win in preferance to another.
Now If it wasn't a DYM bubble then the play makes sense and is correct.
Was the away player a friend of the chip leader?
