Played a few mtt's over last two days, 6 in total, ranging from a £5.75 speed, both mains ties and we'd, both 9:30 and the £55 BH. Few heads no cash so now total stands at 29 mtt's cash 6.

Had a family day in the garden today, few beers and a BBQ. Mother in law goes home tomorrow, nice 4am wake up but good excuse to nip into site and see what is going on in my absence
had a great few weeks - not posted much due to having the worlds worst manflu (Men you will feel my pain I am sure)
it got to point where even the mrs had some sympthy for me (until i made my 6 monoth daughter ill) played a lot less as a result - cashing % wise prob down to about 17% with most notable wins the £55 speed FT for £200 profit (Won a £6 direct to get in) and a £70 score in the half 9 BH
Played just 3 main events in last few weeks (£33 ones ) and ran well but sadly no cash's. had a monster stack in the 19:30 SUnday £33 BH (New fav now is also 5k starting stack) but sadly a bad beat story bla bla bla but had fun to get to 20k and bust all in half hour.
So why choose today to post again? Is it to tell you I had bad beat? or the more likely brag?
haha So I did it - freerole winner for a lovely £100 and a seat to DTD - so excited I can not wait to meet everyone. Not been to a live event since SPT newcastle and still have the interview that was played on sky poker tv saved on my sky box.

At this time 380 left. Had some fold equity and plodded along to bubble at 184, went through to 46 where was next proper pay jump to £10. Then is just about building to get to FT
Last 8 and is turbo format, bla bla bla. The wife calls - Our daughter is screaming - is half 9 and she should be asleep so I get summond to the top top floor. Lap top in hand i walk in to my wife clearly upset i have the worlds loudest fan cooler wurring away on the lap top - goes to snd me out. As a new Dad I could not put poker first so sat down next to my daugter watching the huge blinds eat me up. Wife asks if i can watch her why she showers and destresses. Of course darling and I pray Casey just talks and does not cry.
Get to final 4, casey being good and I am picking up pace - raising wide as table was clearly nervous. Looked at the BB number and called shoves with that info. Got to final 3 - get it in good and..... hold!!! 3 to one chip lead oh my god!!! Rail buzzing. HU, first hand 33 - shove and called by 87, flop 654. now have similar stacks, Next hand they fold the SB, next hand QQ - I min raise they shove..... Ahhhhhhhh heart going, they show J9 and flop the J - I say one time out loud, one time happens and I hold my QQ - I jump up and shout yessssss baby!!!!
Now this should follow with a naked run around the street - but.... i immedietly relised I just shouted yes at 9:45 while my tetting daughter was trying to sleep - next 2 minutes I feel like worlds worst dad as Casey is now screaming again and a naked wife jumps out shower and shouts in a wispered voice at me!! i was now sweating cause happy and in the dog house haha
So if I am still alive - I will be in Nottingham!! Booking a hotel to make a night of it regardless of the poker results
