has any body got a solution for this? i have the exact problem is every body that is experiencing the problems running vista?? i have contacted sky they have no answer just keep disconecting me from the live chat!!
When I attempted to open the SkyPoker Desktop client I got an alert (top image). After clicking ok, I got another (bottom image).
I went to Control Panel /> Programs /> Uninstall a program
I clicked on Adobe Air. When I attempted uninstall Adobe Air I got another alert (unfortunately I didn't screenshot this). From what I remember, it said something along the lines of abode air already being uninstalled and it asked me whether I'd like to remove the icon from the programs list. I clicked yes to remove the icon. (I have no idea as to why Adobe Air was uninstalled. This definetly wasn't done by me and I'm the only one with access to this computer).
I installed that. Clicked on the skypoker shortcut and it was working again.
**EDIT**
As images are pending, I'll type what the alerts are generally saying:
Textbox 1:
SkyPoker.exe - Bad Image Adobe air is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error. Try installing progam again or contacting system admin or software vendor
Textbox 2:
Adobe Air Application requires a version of air which can't be found. Please download latest from adobe

Are you saying you can't play on your browser as well as the downloaded SkyPoker application?
These are different errors to the ones I have. It just says Network Error. Tried reinstalling Air but no joy. Browser version really is rubbish. Posted by bbMike

Stewie - You are an absolute genius. I've had no download client for about 5 days now, various people gave advice such as re-installing skypoker and adobe air, clearing cookies etc etc and this was the simplest fix ever.
All I did was follow your steps and click the box for TLS 1.0 and it worked 1st time.
Well done mate and thanks for helping me out - Much appreciated ;-)

CHEERS HAD TO WAIT FOR SON TO EXPLAIN WHAT A LEFT CLICK WAS
Good going, Stewie! I never had this issue but it's great you sorted it for the people that did. Have to wonder why they had that option unticked though as it's normally enabled by default as far as I can see. Wonder what cleared it...?
