Brilliant weekend, Great work by Chris, Duncan and Michael. And also a big shout out to Aspers who were abso fab.

Highlight of the nite so I'm told is when I jumped up out of my seat and some poor massive dude who was perched on the arm went flying when the chair went over, beer all over him and not able to get up.

Sorry to anybody that I talked to death, I got a round of groans from scousered, pocket6's, boxster ect when they realised I was heading for their table :)

    What a fantastic weekend.

It was great meeting up with old friends, and meeting some new ones, to share our common interests, poker and booze.

I would like to thank Chris Michael and Duncan for getting this up and running, great job guys.

To all those who I shared the odd shandy with, it was a pleasure playing and socialising with you guys and gals.  A friendlier bunch of nutters you could not find anywhere else, especially the peeps who were out to 5am on the Saturday morning, and still managed to turn up for the midday tournament.

Haha, you can Craig :) was lovely to see yr smiley little face again.

I remember throwing a strop with my roomie also for not allowing a party and cans back at the hotel. Prob a good thing in the end as Jac gave us 15mins to get ready after knocking me awake at 11.30am.

    I owe you an apology!

I think when we spoke, you introduced yourself as 'thistle du', and this is gonna sound really stupid but in my warped mind I see your alias as this'l-ted-u....please don't ask me why!

So yes, when we talked and I said I didn't recognise your alias (as how you said it), it's just clicked that I know exactly who you are. 24 hours later but better late than never!

Edit - I've just read that back ^^^ and its barely comprehensible, but I know what I mean and I hope you do too! :)

A big THANKS to Chris, Duncan and Mike for organising this terrific weekend and to Aspers for hosting the event. It was just as good, if not better, as previous "SPTs" I have attended. Met with many previous "friends" and met many more. The poker was almost secondary.

I hope that the guys are up to arranging more and continue to get the support they deserve, I am sure the word will spread.

A big well done to yourself Gordon, and Jamielou, who final tabled the Friday night tournament, and chopped at 4:30 in the morning.

It was also great to have been on your table on Saturday, what a fun table it was, the banter was fantastic.

P.S. Apologies for raising your BB

Cheers guys it was a great day and wd to all that cashed ;')
Shame I didn't win the best beard award, lol wd Hendo on that 1.
Great to meet all the regs and thx to all the warm welcomes, much more than excepted.
Shared some great banter and witness some amazing and baffling poker.
My hand of the mtt Ad10d flop 10h2d8d I'm allin on flop and the hero calls after what seems like a week, declaring I have a few outs and showing AhKh, luckily he missed his 2 outs, this changed my mindset and helped me make the final table on which I finished 6th ;')
I spent the whole mtt with Malcolm McKillop, this man is a poker genius he never saw a flop or spoke a word expect for "ALL IN" for the whole mtt (9hrs) until the final table, any aipf and you gtd Malcolm started or finished them usually with the nuts.
Mr Ulrich has to get the award of "fb robbed my chips" whilst updating said site, The Longman bit ironic declared allin, which the Giant called thinking it was to No raise, tkp teamwork at it's best. The Giant loses the hand and shortly after he departed and the Longman ends up, eads up....wd sir.
I could carry on but I don't want to turn in Spammy!!
Thanks once again to Dunc, Chris and Mike, until the next one..............
