You go Durie! You have the full support of the forum in your quest for justice. You are a leader, a champion amongst men, and we are not worthy of you sticking up for the little man. We are appreciative of all the time and effort this will take, not to mention money, but am very confident you have a water tight case and will take Sky to the cleaners.

    God bless you Durie.

Unless they take more than the proper amount, it's not "robbing". You play poker voluntarily with the knowledge that split pots will be raked. You agree to this plus tons of other things when you sit down.

Rake on split pots is charged in almost every online & live casino in the land and you should always equip yourself with the knowledge of the rules before sitting down at the table.

On a side note - If a 3rd player had invested money in the pot/hand then in this situation you may not have made a loss in the hand, so it's always worth being vigilant to each +EV or -EV situation.

A classic example would be a 3 way all-in QQ v QQ v JJ - The pot splits but QQ v QQ end up in profit even after rake - We can't really expect one rule for one type of hand & one rule for another.

You'll have to join the queue!

Think Hitman leads it, followed by Maxally, Bigbluster, Belsibub, Larson7, igimc, Devonfish....you can prop up the rear if you want.

Which is ironic, as you come across as a total bum.

Here's a deal though, should we ever cross paths at a live event, I will personally put my hand in my own pocket and give you the 12p that Sky robbed from ya.

    No it's fine, I insist. You're welcome.

Why are you singling one person out? at least extend that offer to the rest of us :)

I have had quite a few split pots just lately...well almost enough for a glass of lemonade anyway lol

Oh Durie, please run along, you're embarrassing yourself. Go and cry in your room over the missing 12p and leave the adults in peace.

Just seen this.  Thanks for the laugh durie.  If you think having the pot raked on a cash game is an injustice then god know your opinions on real injustices!

ps, if you want to threaten someone, try me for size.....

ahhhhh the great sky poker community I always hear about....

Not even trying to keep it on track and being antagonistic is just as bad as Duries op.

Durie - Back to topic, do u want no rake at all for split pots then?
I just don't think that will ever happen on any online site as the costs are the same whoever wins the hand.

Janana, if you see the first response (which was from me), you'll see I answered his post. He then immediately mentioned robbery and legal action......over 12p......despite not having a leg to stand on.

Left himself wide open for mockery and sarcasm IMO.

durie, I think the others are being very unfair to you. I would recommend that you telephone one of the 'no win no fees' lawyer firms and discuss your case, in detail, with them.

Don't be put off if the first one or two, or even twenty, suggest that it might be difficult to win, keep badgering them until one of them offers to help you.

Good luck with your fight for justice.

To be fair, there is nothing to even be kept on track. He posed a question and got his answer. Obviously didn't like it that he was wrong and goes off on one about legal action blah blah blah.

    Good evening Mr Durie.
I think you should take your case to the Sky Poker Ambassador, also would recommend you play in the £2.20 @2.20 deepstack , a player as tight as yourself would do well in a deepstack.
    All the best
