Have been struggling with multi-tabling, and have had to adopt back to my two tables only approach (3 at a stretch).

Yes I know, sounds crazy to you young 10+ table specialist, but this old boy, just can't do it, and keeps missing spots!

Unfortunately it means I can't do all the Mains, Minis and £55 Bounty Hunters each day, but hey ho, might try to increase tables again at a later date.

Faired slightly better, back to two tables today, and on my reckoning I'm about $30 up for the year! :=)

Ok, looks like the SS leaderboard isn't counting sat harvesting.  As of midday Weds I was +£2217.10 for the month so far on MTTs.  Will keep an eye on it, see if it sorts itself out.

Thanks for letting me know Tommy. I did fear this!

I contacted sharkscope previously about this, and they assured me that satellites are calculated in the standard way for the TLB's. (ie value of ticket won counts as if it was real money)

However from my figures last year, I was a bit dubious about this

If it doesn't sort itself out, could you contact "Sharkscope" support, as they will ask for specific tournament id's etc. to be able to reconcile it. So you would be the best "candidate" to address this with them, as you have significant "credits" from satellite tournaments.

Is that OK for you to contact them. assuming it doesn't sort itself out?

if you could please let me know if you are OK doing this, it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers Graham

For clarification Tommy, can you tell when referencing with your figures, how you think it's dealing with SKY satellites at the moment.

I think the possible options are as follows.

Lets assume you enter the £48 UKPC Semi Final and win a £220 seat.

It could be dealing with it in 1 of 3 ways

    1) Correctly counting as £172 profit.
    2) Not counting it at all.
    3) Counting it as a £48 loss.

I fear the answer may be number 3.

Is there any way to tell from cross referencing your figures mate?

im for the leaderboard if im not too late. cancer research the charity. not entirely sure how well i will fare since i mostly grind elsehwere now. guess im in the same boat as alot of ppl tho - will be playing the main, 55bh, 48 ukps sat and maybe 1 or 2 22bh each night.

on the same note, i guess its win win tho - I'll always have the excuse of number of tables impacting ROI vs Graham

pretty sure ss does count sats properly, but what it might be doing is missing tourneys out. i often find that sngs and hyper turbo tournaments are missed, as well as some sats etc that dont last long (3 way flips for 1/5 seats anyone?!). could be something to do with how sharkscope poll the lobbies or something.

Firstly, great to have you on board Andy!

I still think there may be a specific problem with Sky TLB and Satellites, it's seems sometimes that the correct outcome is recorded when looking up the individual, but for TLB purposes it's not calculating correctly. So, as I see it, I think it is specific both to SKY and TLB searches, as TLB on other sites from what I can gather appear to deal with satellites OK.

Secondly, yes it's still OK to join, even though you have an early lead, I have sent you a Skype and an Email with the competitors and their charities, as we have three Cancer charities at the moment, including Cancer Research, so if you could select a charity that no one has already selected, that would be great!

If you could get back to me ASAP with your charity, that would be great!

Best of luck for 2015. See you at the tables!

    Cheers Graham

P.S. Yes my two tables max, will make up for your sporadic attendances I think, plus you already have a significant lead!

    Sharkscope TLB calculations for satellites:

OK, I've been doing some dabbling on Sharkscope and I'm pretty sure, as Andy (chicknMelt) says, that satellites are being dealt with OK.

Certainly it looks correct on my year to date, and chicknMelt and TommyD's scheduled/year to date matches what the TLB says.

So I'm happy all is OK, Tommy, do your figures reconcile now, was it just a time-lag thing?

    Cheers Graham

I have spoken with Andy (chicknMelt) Young and due to the Charity "Cancer Research" already being taken, he has agreed to change his chosen charity to:

    Mind in Cambrideshire.

    http://www.mindincambs.org.uk/

This is a top rate charity, doing very important work.

I have done some voluntary work for them in the past, so know first hand how much support they are to people!

Best of luck Andy! Thanks for supporting this initiative.

    See you at the tables!

Lets see if we can get to £1,500 before Sunday's live show when Ryan will hopefully give it a "shout out" to get more competitors on board, before the cut-off at the end of Jan!

Dave! That is sooo generous of you mate! £150 donation, that's amazing. You're are a diamond geezer my friend.

I think it is a great idea for you to join as a competitor, even if you're not going to be playing much!

This is because, if you are a competitor, then there is an option for people to sponsor your charity, regardless of the result. So having you as a competitor will allow people to donate to "Help for Heroes" which I'm sure would be a very popular charity choice.

It looks like one way to facilitate your donation would be to pay the £50 competitor fee and additionally sponsor £100 (totalling your £150 donation) to the winners charities. How broad the prize pool will be spread is still fluid and will be finalised on 1st Feb. But I anticipate maybe paying the top four in a 40%/30%/20%/10% split

Doing it like this will effectively mean of your £150, £60 would go to first, £45 to 2nd, £30 to 3rd and £15 to 4th place. Is that acceptable to you?

Or maybe a better option is to pay the £50 into the competitor's charity prize pool and sponsor the whole other £100 to your own charity, "Help for Heroes." This is completely acceptable.

Let me know which option you would like to take, so I can update the spreadsheets accordingly?

I hope this all makes sense. :=)

Also mate, could you please msg me your email address ASAP, or add me on Skype would be even better, there's something I'd like to discuss with you. Skype ID: graham_paul_carter

Thanks again for this fantastic pledge, the generosity of people like yourself within the Sky community completely humbles me.

You have now brought us up to the £1,500 mark! Unbelievable! And thanks too, to Chris RSPCA for spreading the word too, great stuff mate!

    Cheers Graham.

Great you are now a competitor Dave! And the additional £100 will go to "Help the Heroes." I hope you get more sponsorships from other people, for this most noble of causes, throughout the year.

    Great stuff Chris!

That's just the attitude we need!

In the unlikely event that I cash at UKPC, I will also donate 5% of any overall net profit made from the various UKPC events that I enter. (also 50/50 between my charity and the Prize Pool)

ANYONE ELSE GAME ON FOR THIS? WOULD BE A GREAT THING TO DO!

Please post to thread if you are willing to do this. Game On!

    Cheers Graham

    P.S. Great idea Chris!

Can't believe it took Rickard to point out that RSCPA should have RSPCA as his charity!

Oh well I have now seen the error of my ways and hereby offer to allow RSCPA to have RSPCA as his nominated charity.  If he still wants Guide Dogs for the Blind to be represented then I am happy to swap.  Otherwise, I would like to have Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Don't mind either way - just let me know what you want to do RSPCA.

    Cheers
