In Response to Re: Tournament Leader Board 2015 (Charity Prop Bet, Get Involved!) : Can't believe it took Rickard to point out that RSCPA should have RSPCA as his charity! Oh well I have now seen the error of my ways and hereby offer to allow RSCPA to have RSPCA as his nominated charity.  If he still wants Guide Dogs for the Blind to be represented then I am happy to swap.  Otherwise, I would like to have Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Don't mind either way - just let me know what you want to do RSPCA. Cheers

Whatever you want to do is fine by me guys, I can swap it no problem. If we swap, what do you want me to do with sponsor money where Adam has been already been sponsored as the RSPCA? Will that move to Chris?

Let me know what you want to do! I missed the TV coverage as I was struggling to multi-table and it was all I could do to focus on my games, must get better at this multi-tasking! It sounds as if it was entertaining and good that people are talking about it! I'm not going to miss anymore coverage, even if my game suffers, I will persevere!

Thanks again to everyone involved in getting this up and running!

    Cheers Graham

Just a little FYI on my stats, I've had a little play around with my spreadsheet compared to TLB.  It's not the UKPC which is missing, TLB hasn't recorded the Main from the 1st Jan or a couple of others.  It looks to me like any MTT which started and ended on the 1st (without going past midnight I think).

TBH just let it ride.  The bet was on whatever TLB says and let's stick to it.  The last thing I want is for this to get all convoluted.  If SS drops a MTT or doesn't record one, whoever scored in it just has to eat it imo.  This is meant to be simple, fun brags banter and raise money for charity.  Let's do that and forget about any issues.  :)

Hi Tommy. This would be my thoughts on it.

Yes we do need to go solely by the Sharkscope Leader Board, otherwise things could get a bit complex with possible "exceptions". We also have to bear in mind that the timings are based on US Eastern Time I believe.

However, with regard to the tournaments you mention. If they started AND finished on or after 00:00:00 01/01/2015 Eastern Time then they should count. My suggestion would be that we contact Sharkscope and tell them what has happened, so that they can add theses tournaments, and correct the figure.

If you are happy with this, can you either contact them yourself or if you'd rather, send me the missing tournament ID's and Profit/Loss info, and I will contact them on your behalf.

To me, amending sharkscope figures is something, I don't want to do, but getting them to correct their mistakes, if it makes a significant impact to the result, is something we should do.

Let me know your thoughts! Competitors, do you concur with this approach?

    Cheers Graham

WOW, I've just seen Thursdays Results!

Congratulations Conor! (bearlyther) on finishing 3rd in the main event and winning the Mini. Simple outstanding!

Clearly you have placed yourself as favourite for both titles! Although a long way still to go!

Not only is it another tenner for the charities, but you take a massive lead in the "Tournament Wins Shield", with 9pts in total, including the two points for your previous £55 BH win.

For clarification, I don't think the "bonus money" will could towards the leader board, however, perhaps Ryan, being a previous "bonus" winner, can confirm that Sharkscope does NOT take into consideration, bonus money won.

I knew the competition was going to be tough, but this is ridiculous!

    Thanks again, outstanding mate!

    Cheers Graham

Updated Competitor Spreadsheet following Andy (ChicknMelt) Young and Dave (HITMAN_RV) Harvey joining.

    Welcome aboard!

Also has included "Tournament Wins Shield" points change after Conor, (bearlyther) Gilmore took down yesterday's Mini!

    Cheers Graham

Hi Graham, congrats on the massive success of this already!
It would be good if you could put an updated spreadsheet on the OP everytime it's updated, so people don't need to try and find the latest one amongst all the subsequent posts.
Is it ok if I choose a player/charity to sponsor after all the entries are in...ie in Feb?
Can I also say vvvvvvwell played to chicknMelt in the UKPC, just been watching the episodes on youtube!
    Superb!

    Happy weekend everyone :)

Thanks Mrs Duck, February will be fine!
Yes it was a bit "spur of the moment", hence we had to think on the fly, which is why I have allowed Competitors to register until the end of January.

Hopefully this will continue in successive years, and we will be "more organised" and make sure that all interested "Competitors" are registered by 31/12/2015.

Really appreciate your comments and the support!

    Cheers Graham

Sorry MrsDuck, please excuse my ignorance, but I don't know what OP means?

Does it stand for Opening Page?

There are some threads that stay at the top, is that what you mean.

I have asked, Sky and TK, on this thread, about how to do this, but no response back yet.

Is that what you mean by OP?

    Cheers Graham

    Thx Ross, MrsDuck.

OK, there are three spreadsheets really. The "Competitor" one, the "Sponsor" one and the "Leader Board" one.

Going forward I will update all these weekly on a Thursday evening before the start of the live show (about 6pm)

I will publish the "spreadsheets" all together and update the OP when I do.

Thanks for the clarification, if you have any further questions/comments/suggestions, I would be happy to hear them.

    Cheers Graham

Yep, I just meant it's good to publish the newest table on the first post of the first page (of this thread), so people can find it quickly :) you can go to the post and just "edit" it with each new update.

As I struggle to multi-table and watch the live shows.

Does anyone know if the Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday shows repeat, and if so, what day and time?

Thanks in advance for any info on this.

    Cheers Graham

Is one update a week enough for these spreadsheets, or should I do them every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 6pm to tie in with the live shows.

What does everyone think? Is three times a week too much?

OK, just the once a week, on Thursday's then.

It was quite a bit of work getting things going Adam, but after January, everyone one should understand how it all works and there will be no more "Competitor" entires, so I'm hoping things will take care of themselves a bit more!

However, even after January, I will still need the support of you guys to keep the thread "lively", so we keep up the "profile" and the "interest" of sponsors etc.

Hopefully I can count on you all to do your bit to keep the interest going throughout the year!

    All the best,

    Graham
