Nice to see the hard work starting to pay off Lee. WP Gonna stay up?

i wrote a reply to this on my phone early this morning but that appears to have failed miserably...

i think we will, but its all dependant on this weekends results, if we win i think that should be enough, could even be safe before the last game of the season, as i can see both sunderland and norwich losing there next 2.

im actually going to the villa game tomorow and will be taking my two eldest children to their first game. they dont really understand it to well yet, but they are both newcastle (and lionel messi) crazy.. i wonder where they get that from? would be really nice for them to see us win :)

i know newcastle fans are known for high expectations, i like to think im anything like them in general and prefer to be realistic, but i can see good things in the future if we stay up and keep rafa as manager, if we go down though who knows what will happen. hopefully we will never find out

well turns out i can go (as my intention was to sit in with the home fans) and they wont sell tickets to anyone who hasnt been to a game already this season, or without a previously varied ticket purchase. so instead they are going to have a half empty stadium. i dont understand it from a business point of view. slightly annoyed.

any villa fans out there want to help me out? ;)

It's pretty common procedure these days. Having away fans in home ends can lead to various issues, so having a purchase history might deter a few people from doing it. If people want to get in the wrong end though, they'll find a way. There's always a way.

Can you not buy at the ground/gate? Is that even a thing anymore in the top flight?

yeh i can see where the issues can come from but its not like i announced im a newcastle fan, i simply said "i want to buy 1 adult and 2 under 8 tickets" and that was it point blank refused. i mean sure if theres a group of 5/6 guys thats fair enough, but one adult a 3 year old and a 5 year old aint casuing to much trouble, this is where football is way behind other sports :(

The significance of the match won't be helping you. I'm sure Villa will be aware that many Newcastle fans won't have got tickets in the away end due to demand, and so I reckon there will have been plenty of people this week wanting to buy tickets in the home end with no purchase history.....gonna look a bit suspect, esp if you started chanting 'Shearer, Shearer' down the blower.

Have you tried any Villa forums to see if turning up and buying on the day is feasible? Don't wear barcodes if you make the journey ;)

sat in with the home fans last year no problem, and earlier this year sat in with the sunderland fans as they spanked us 3-0, while im a masive newcastle fan im also just a football fan and can sit and watch a game and enjoy it regardless ofthe results :)

decided to have a small stakes MTT session tonight and did fairly well, cashed a few £2.30 ones, won 1 of the £5.75 ones, and im happy with how i played in the ones i didnt cash.

also played some of the £11 mtt's after the bink so some of the profit went into those but still a good session

justa small early afternoon low stakes Hu session today, had very good results in the £5.25 HU hypers, however i am a little bit behind where i want to be points wise for the month so spun up a few russian roulettes to build it up so finished the session with a very small loss.

another shockign day on the dyms, but a really good day of mtt's getting abit frustrated with dyms tbh, might take a break from them and grind out mtt's for a while.

very decent day overall, played a couple of mtt's and happy with how i played although i didnt cash any, put in a decent dym session and got very good results, dyms have been grinding my gears recently and have considered giving them up and moving over to mtt's or another type of sit and go for a change but more days like these and id have to reconsider

ok i know this is a sick hand, but my question is, should i really be raising the river here? i know its HU and 95% of the time my hand is winning or splitting here, but when i raise i dotn think im getting called by workse, surely only aa, jx and kx can call here.

Even with the best read I don't think many people would get away from this I am wondering though if you thought about folding when you posted the hand knowing you had the third nuts
