I make a tidy profit from football betting so I thought I would share my bets on here.

I don't make money from speculative accumulators, I make money from betting big on even money or odds on shots. I do a lot of preparation work. I have spread sheets on every English team which records every goal, shot, corner etc. for the last five years. I have made money every season for the last five years.

I have indicated for each bet, the price I got. The corners bets for Football League matches are only available on Bet365 (except TV matches). Not sure that I should be mentioning sites other than SKY Bet on here so I will leave it to you to check the best prices.

My bets for this weekend already started on Thursday night with a comfortable win on Luton v Shrewsbury for Under 2.5 Goals as they played out a 0-0 draw.

So here are my bets for today with a value in points attached to each bet. Just allocate an amount per point, which could be as little as 10p or as much as £100. I wouldn't follow anyone else's advice at £100 per point so start small and increase your bet size as you build up your confidence in my advice. Incidentally, I do have losing weeks. In fact about 35-40% of weeks are losing weeks but, like poker, it is about the long game.

Here goes.

Nottm Fo v Sheff Wed

I expect plenty of corners here. Seven of Forest's last nine at home have gone over 11 corners with only one falling short. Five of Wednesday's last six on the road have gone over this line.

Bet Four Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.875

Crewe v Gillingham

Gillingham are great for high corners with seven of their last eight going over 11 corners. Crewe are a good enough match up for a bet here with four of their last seven at home clearing this line,

Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.875

Sheff Utd v Preston

This looks like a low scoring match. United's last six home matches have all failed to reach 2.5 goals while eight of Preston's last nine on the road have also fallen short. This looks similar to the Luton v Shrewsbury match with two promotion contenders making it tight.

Bet Six Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.66

Burton v Mansfield

Another low scoring match here. Nine of Burton's last eleven at home have failed to reach 2.5 Goals (we have been on four of them) while six of Mansfield's last seven away matches have been below this line.

Bet Six Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.71

Dagenham & Red v Oxford

Ten of the Daggers' twelve home matches have topped 10.5 corners
while four of Oxford's last six have cleared this line.

Bet Two Points on Over 10.5 Corners at 8/11

Morecambe v Tranmere

Another excellent low scoring bet. Morecambe's recent home matches have featured 2-2-1-3-1-0 goals while Rovers' away matches have had 0-1-2-2-4-1-1-2 goals. Expect a dull affair.

Bet Six Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.72

Southend v Plymouth

Probably the greatest cash cow in football betting - Under 2.5 Goals on Southend home matches. Twelve home matches and everyone under 2.5 goals. Plymouth match up well with 7 of their last 8 on the road staying under 2.5 Goals.

Bet TEN Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.71

I guess all serious football betters are already quids in on Southend because it has stood out since October but until results turn against us, I will continue going to the well.

Good Luck & let's hope this isn't the week when things turn pear shaped on us. It would take a strong wind to make that happen.

Here is a little bit of fun that I do most weeks - a few correct score bets (which I make a reasonable profit on) and a just for fun accumulator (which I hit about twice per season).

Correct Score Bets:

Crawley v MK Dons 0-0 (14) 0-1 (8.2)
Burton v Mansfield 1-0 (7) 2-0 (9)
Hartlepool v Cheltenham 0-2 (13,5) 1-2 (11)
Wycombe v York 1-0 (7.6) 1-1 (7.2)

Just For Fun Accumulator: Chelsea, Birmingham, Bolton, Bournemouth, Watford, Burton at 69/1

Good Luck Again!

A bit disappointing. Our Max Bet won but who would have thought that just six goals in our four "Unders" matches would have given us two winners & two losers.

Our Max Bet won last week. No Max Bet this week but one good bet & three decent bets.

    Fulham v Reading

We have won money before on high corners at the Cottage & I think we should win again on Saturday. Bet365 have put the line up to 11.5 but I still expect an over here.

Fulham's home corners this season have been 13-13-14-9-14-16-15-19-14-15-14-13 so this line has been cleared in every match th...is season bar one. Reading match up reasonably well with 7 of their last 11 away matches going over this line. Additionally, those seven matches have cleared pretty comfortably - 15-18-18-10-20-18-6-8-17-7-13.

Bet Six Points on Over 11.5 Corners at 1.90 (Bet365)

    Millwall v Ipswich

This has a look of low corners about it. Millwall's home corners have been 7-9-7-10-5-9-11-8-7-9. Ipswich match up reasonably well with 8-12-3-5-12-11-11-7. There have been a few overs but they were against high corner sides.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.95 (Bet365)

    Watford v Charlton

I fancy high corners here. Watford have recently had several high corners matches at home with 5 of the last 7 reaching 13 or more corners. Charlton's away corners have been high all season with 10 out of 12 going over the Bet365 line of 11 corners.

Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.925 (Bet365)

    Doncaster v Barnsley

Doncaster have been good for high corners all season with 8 of their 10 home matches going over 10.5 corners. Barnsley have gone high away in recent months with 6 of their last 7 going over this line.

Bet Two Points on Over 10.5 Corners at 8/11 (Bet365)

    Correct Score Bets

    Wolves v Blackpool 1-0 2-0
    Swindon v Chesterfield 0-0 1-0
    Yeovil v Bradford 0-1 0-2
    York v Stevenage 0-0 1-0

    (One Winner Last Week)

Just For Fun Accumulator: Southampton, Derby, Ipswich, Bradford, Shrewsbury at 37/1

    Football League Bets

A profitable week again last week.

Not a great set of fixtures but two matches catch the eye.

    Norwich v Brentford

There should be plenty of goals here. All of the Canaries last six home matches have had over 2.5 Goals. Six of the Bees last seven on the road have gone over 2.5 Goals. Bet Four Points on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.76 (Betfair).

    Cheltenham v Luton

This should be a low scoring match. Ten of Cheltenham's last twelve at home have failed to reach 2.5 Goals while nine of Luton's twelve away matches have fallen short of this line. Bet Six Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.67 (Betfair).

    Correct Score Bets

    Wolves v Charlton 1-0 2-0
    Cheltenham v Luton 0-1 1-1
    Mansfield v Wycombe 0-1 1-1
    Plymouth v Morecambe 0-1 1-1

    Good Luck!

    Thank you.

Just for fun, I have had an accumulator on Chelsea, Southampton, Spurs, Derby, Arsenal & Stoke because a betting site gave me a £10 free bet. Could win me £133 for free.

    Football League Bets

Two winners out of two at the weekend and three more bets for tonight. Nothing too big though.

    Millwall v Reading

The bookies make low goals the favourite here but I favour high goals so there is value to be had here. Six of the Lions last nine home matches have gone over 2.5 Goals at an average of 3.67 per match. All of the Royals' last eight on the road have cleared this ...line at an average of 3.875.

Bet Four Points on Over 2.5 Goals at 2.22 (Betfair).

    Sheff Wed v Birmingham

The bookies match this pretty equally for unders & overs but it is clear value for unders for me. Ten of Wednesday's 13 home matches have failed to reach 2.5 Goals while seven of the Blues last eight of the road have fallen short.

Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.99 (Betfair).

    Chesterfield v Crawley

I fancy high corners here. Bet365 have set a line at 11 Corners. This would have won eight times & been a "no bet" once in the Spirites 12 home matches. Crawley have had lots of corners in their recent away matches with 16-14-13-18-8-15-16 in their last seven.

Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.85 (Bet365)

    Good Luck!

Just one winner out of three here. Think a first half red card did for us at Millwall as they shut up & played for the draw while we lost by one corner at Chesterfield.

    Football League Bets

    Bournemouth v Watford (Friday)

There should be goals here. Six of the Cherries' last seven home matches have gone over 2.5 goals at an average of 4.12 goals per match. The Hornets are ideal opponents with four of their last six away topping this line at an average of 3.33 goals per game.

Bet Four Points on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.75 (Betfair).

    Charlton v Rotherham

Should be low goals here. Nine of the Addicks last eleven at the Valley have failed to reach 2.5 goals. while ten of the Millers' 13 away matches have also fallen short of this line.

Bet Four Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.69 (Betfair).

Could be worth a small bet on 0-0 as well.

    Reading v Sheff Wed

Like the high corners here. Bet365 have set an 11 corners line. This would have won five times & been a push three times in their last eight home matches. The Owls like corners on their travels and the total has topped this line five times with one push in their last seven away matches with the Owls winning at least six corners in every match.

Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.85 (Bet365)

    Barnsley v Port Vale

This should be a low corners match. Five of the Tykes' last seven home matches have stopped short of 10.5 corners. Seven of Vale's last eight on the road have failed to reach this line.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.925 (Bet365)

    Crewe v MK Dons

I have this as a low scoring match and as often happens when a team near the top plays a team near the bottom, the bookies see it the other way. Six of Crewe's last seven at home have had less than 2.5 goals. This includes matches against promotion contenders, Sheff Utd, Bristol City & Preston. Seven of the Dons' last eight away matches have fallen short of 2.5 Goals.

Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 2.18 (Betfair).

    Southend v York

Back to the cash cow that is Southend home matches. Thirteen home matches & all thirteen have been under 2.5 goals. Can you go to the well too often? We have won on this bet eight times so far & although York are not the best match up, I still fancy the Unders. Eight of York's 13 away matches have had less than 2.5 goals.

Bet Four Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.75 (Betfair).

    Correct Score Bets

    Blackpool v Brighton 0-1 1-1
    Crewe v MK Dons 0-1 1-1
    Southend v York 0-0 1-0...
    Wycombe v Portsmouth 1-0 2-0

(Two out of four correct last week!)

    Good Luck!

Liking the tips Tiger and as a Southend fan, you are right on the lack of goals! We went nearly 370 mins (until a dodgy pen in the 88th minute!) without a goal but we haven't conceded a goal at home for over 500 mins! Certainly not been an entertaining season, at home anyway! It will end soon but we have Accrington at home in 2 Saturday's time so keep going with the under 2.5 bet!

Accrington have only had four away matches under 2.5 goals so it will have to be a small bat on that one.

    Football League Bets

Quite a few decent bets this week.

    Fulham v Birmingham

14 home matches at the Cottage & 13 have gone over 12.5 corners making high corners a good bet even though City are not a great match. Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.85 (Bet365).

    Rotherham v Ipswich

I favour low corners here. Seven of the Millers last eight at home have failed to reach 10.5 corners at an average of 8.25 corners per match. Town match up reasonably well with an average of 8.8 corners in their last ten away matches. Bet TWO Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.95 (Bet365)

    Yeovil v Crawley

Should be low goals here with 11 of Yeovil's last 13 home matches having failed to reach 2.5 goals while 9 of Crawley's 14 away matches have also fallen short. Bet TWO Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.88 (Betfair).

    Cheltenham v Burton

Cheltenham have been good for low goals all season with 11 of 13 matches falling short of 2.5 goals. Burton have gone low in recent away matches with five consecutive games stopping short of 2.5 goals. Bet FOUR Points on Under 2,5 Goals at 1.73 (Betfair).

It should be low corners as well. This time it is Burton who have long form with 9 of their last 11 away matches failing to reach 10.5 corners (average 7.55). Cheltenham match up with four consecutive games going under at an average of 7.75 corners. Bet FOUR Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.825 (Bet365).

    Mansfield v Stevenage

High corners here. At the 11 Corners line, we would have won seven times & lost once in Stevenage's last 11 away matches, Mansfield are a "chameleon team" so go high with high visitors. We would have won four of their last six home matches, Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.90 (Bet365)

    Oxford v Luton

High again here. The U's most recent home corners have been 12-11-16-13-18-13 while the Hatters most recent away corner totals have been 14-11-16-11-5. We will excuse that last one because it was at Cheltenham. Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.95 (Bet365).

    Shrewsbury v Southend

High corners again. The New Meadow has been good for high corners all season with only three of 14 matches falling below the 11 corner line (one push). Southend's away corners have been high since November with 6 out of 8 going over 12.5 corners. Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) on Over 11 Corners at 1.875 (Bet365)

    Correct Score Bets

    Swindon v Barnsley 1-0 2-0

In Response to Re: Tiger's Football Tips:
Football League Bets Quite a few decent bets this week. Fulham v Birmingham 14 home matches at the Cottage & 13 have gone over 12.5 corners making high corners a good bet even though City are not a great match. Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.85 (Bet365). 18 Corners - WON Rotherham v Ipswich I favour low corners here. Seven of the Millers last eight at home have failed to reach 10.5 corners at an average of 8.25 corners per match. Town match up reasonably well with an average of 8.8 corners in their last ten away matches. Bet TWO Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.95 (Bet365) 12 Corners - Lost Yeovil v Crawley Should be low goals here with 11 of Yeovil's last 13 home matches having failed to reach 2.5 goals while 9 of Crawley's 14 away matches have also fallen short. Bet TWO Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.88 (Betfair). 3 Goals - Lost Cheltenham v Burton Cheltenham have been good for low goals all season with 11 of 13 matches falling short of 2.5 goals. Burton have gone low in recent away matches with five consecutive games stopping short of 2.5 goals. Bet FOUR Points on Under 2,5 Goals at 1.73 (Betfair). Four Goals - Lost It should be low corners as well. 7 Corners - WON Mansfield v Stevenage High corners here. At the 11 Corners line, we would have won seven times & lost once in Stevenage's last 11 away matches, Mansfield are a "chameleon team" so go high with high visitors. We would have won four of their last six home matches, Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.90 (Bet365) 12 Corners - WON Oxford v Luton High again here. The U's most recent home corners have been 12-11-16-13-18-13 while the Hatters most recent away corner totals have been 14-11-16-11-5. We will excuse that last one because it was at Cheltenham. Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.95 9 Corners - Lost (Bet365). Shrewsbury v Southend High corners again. The New Meadow has been good for high corners all season with only three of 14 matches falling below the 11 corner line (one push). Southend's away corners have been high since November with 6 out of 8 going over 12.5 corners. Bet TWO Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) on Over 11 Corners at 1.875 (Bet365) 15 Corners - WON Correct Score Bets Wigan v Bournemouth 0-1 0-2 Swindon v Barnsley 1-0 2-0 Cheltenham v Burton 0-1 1-1 York v Dagenham 1-0 1-1 Good Luck!
