    Football League Bets

Not a great set of fixtures this week but three small bets.

    Norwich v Nottm Fo

The bookies favour high corners here but I prefer low corners. The Canaries last five home corners have been 9-4-13-8-9. Forest are average away corners but their last three have been 8-7-9 so I go low here.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners at 6/5 (Bet365).

    Barnsley v Preston

The Tykes last five home matches have had 8-8-9-7-7 corners. Preston have been average on away corners but recently have been 5-10-9-12-12-9.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.975 (Bet365)

    Peterboro v Chesterfield

Boro's last six home matches have all failed to reach ten corners and four of the Spireites' last five away matches have failed to reach 10.5 corners.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.875 (Bet365)

Just for Fun Accumulator: Arsenal, Southampton, Brentford, Leeds & Watford at 17/1

    Correct Score Bets

    Rotherham v Sheff Wed 2-1 3-1
    Wigan v Bolton 1-0 2-0
    Crewe v Oldham 1-0 2-0
    Bury v Northampton 1-0 2-0

    Good Luck

    Football League Bets

One good bet and five decent ones this week.

    Bradford v Oldham

Six of Bradford's last seven at home have failed to reach 10.5 Corners at an average of 8.86 while eight of Oldham's last ten on the road have fallen short of this line at an average of 9.2.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.975 (Bet365)

    Notts County v Scunthorpe

This should be low corners based on The Iron's away record of 6-9-7-9-7-15-4-10 corners. County are average with four out of seven under 10,5 corners at an average of 8.71. County are a chameleon team who tend to move towards their opposition's corner tendencies.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.95 (Bet365)

    Rochdale v Yeovil

12 out of Yeovil's 19 away matches have failed to reach 10.5 corners including four of the last six. Dale have gone low in recent weeks with four of their last five at home being low corners at an average of 8.6.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.90 (Bet365)

    Sheff Utd v Crewe

Another low corner match. Seven of United's last eight at home have failed to reach 10.5 corners while seven of the Alex's last eight away have dropped short of this line.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.95 (Bet365)

I also think there will be goals here. Five of United's last six at home have gone over 2.5 goals while 9 of the Alex's last 11 away have cleared this line.

Bet Two Points on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.91 (Betfair)

    Cheltenham v Plymouth

This looks to be a great low corners bet. Bet365 have set the line at 10 corners but I think this is more than fair. Cheltenham's recent home corners have been 9-9-8-5-7-12-10-9-11. Plymouth's away figures are even better with 14 lows out of 19. What makes this better is that a lot of the lows are very low. 11 of them have been under 8.5 corners including ALL of their last five away matches.

Bet Six Points on Under 10 Corners (DNB) at 2.0 (Bet365).

Just For Fun Accumulator - Rochdale, Sheff Utd & Preston at 7/2.

    Correct Score Bets

    Bristol City v Barnsley 0-0 1-0
    Hartlepool v Cambridge 1-0 2-0
    Mansfield v York 1-1 2-1
    Oxford v Carlisle 0-0 0-1

    Good Luck!!!

Another profitable weekend with our big bet winning confortably in the Cheltenham v Plymouth match.

After that it was two winners, two losers and a no bet but the low corners in Cheltenham means that I can book my Florida trip this week.

    Football League Bets

After another profitable weekend, we go into the Easter fixtures with money in our pocket. No great bets this weekend but three decent bets & one good bet for the first half of the Easter weekend.

    Fulham v Brentford

We have done well with the high corners at the Cottage this season and even though Bet365 have lifted the line to 12 for this match, I still see overs as a good bet. This bet would have won 15 times out of 19 Fulham home matches. Brentford are a decent match with three of their last five topping this line.

Bet Two Points on Over 12 Corners (DNB) at 2.0 (Bet365)

    Oldham v Bristol City

I fancy goals here. 13 of the Latics last 15 at home have gone over 2.5 Goals while 13 of City's 19 away matches have cleared this line.

Bet Two Points on Over 2.5 Goals at 2.04 (Betfair)

    Barnsley v Sheff Utd

This looks like a good prospect for low corners. Barnsley have been a good team for low corners at home all season and with 5 of the last six being under 10.5 Corners at an average of 8.33, I am keen here. United match up well with 7 of their last 8 away matches failing to reach 10.5 Corners.

Bet Four Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.925 (Bet365)

    Newport v Hartlepool

County's last seven home matches have all failed to reach 2.5 goals as have Pool's last six away matches. There is a risk with one team chasing promotion & the other battling to avoid relegation but it is still worth a small bet.

Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.68 (Betfair)

    Correct Score Bets

    Bolton v Blackpool 1-0 2-0
    Cambridge v Bury 0-1 0-2
    Carlisle v Portsmouth 1-0 1-1
    York v Cheltenham 0-0 1-0

    Good Luck!

    Football League Bets

After a great profit on Easter Monday, we should be able to profit more this weekend.

    Sheffield Wednesday v Charlton

I favour low corners here.Wednesday's last four home matches have had 8-8-6-6 corners while the Addick's away corners have been 9-5-9-6-12.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 2.00 (Bet365).

    Crewe v Leyton O

I think this could be a low scoring match. There have been few goals at Gresty Road all season with 12 of the last 14 failing to reach 2.5 goals including all of the last six. Orient have gone low away recently with their last four stopping short of the line with a single goal in each of their last three matches.

Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 2.00 (Betfair).

    Port Vale v MK Dons

Vale's last four home matches have had 18-15-16-13 corners. The Dons have been high on corners away all season but their last four all top the 11.5 corner line set by Bet365.

Bet Two Points on Over 11.5 Corners at 1.80 (Bet365).

    Wimbledon v Oxford

Oxford are always good for low corners on their travels - their last four have had 6-9-9-7 corners. Wimbledon are a chameleon team that tend to follow their opponents tendencies. Four of their last eight have finished below 6.5 corners.

Bet Two Points on Under 10 Corners (DNB) at 1,925 (Bet365).

    Southend v Tranmere

Southend have been our most profitable team this season & while low goals still looks good, I favour high corners here. Their last nine home matches have had 13-12-14-17-17-13-13-16-15 corners. Rovers have had high & low extremes but their last three have been 14-15-19.

Bet Four Points on Over 11.5 Corners at 1.975 (Bet365).

    Correct Score Bets

Millwall v Watford 1-3 Any Other Away Win
    Walsall v Fleetwood 0-0 0-1
    Newport v Bury 0-1 0-2
    Plymouth v Mansfield 1-0 2-0

    Good Luck!

    Football League Bets

After a profitable weekend, tonight's fixtures don't look so good with just a couple of minimum bets & these only just make the cut.

    Brighton v Huddersfield

Seven of Brighton's last nine home matches have failed to reach 10.5 corners while four of Town's last five away have fallen short.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.80 (Bet365)

    Sheff Wed v Brentford

Similar here. Wednesday's last five at home have all failed to reach 10.5 corners as have the Bees last four away. My caution is that Brentford do have big corner days.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.85 (Bet365)

    Good Luck!

    Congratulations on another profitable day.

Just thought I would post to let you know that some people do follow this and enjoy the reasoning behind your selections.
I have even made a small profit on the couple of times I have followed your advice.

I am not a big betting person, but I may be tempted further.

    Keep up the good work.

    Good luck.

I know from messages that I receive that quite a few people follow my tips and make money. In many ways, betting on football is like poker. I evaluate the price for a paticular result and if the bookies are offering better than that then it is value. Last night, I had prices on both bets as 1.67 for Under 10.5 Corners. Both offered slightly better prices with insurance for 11 corners so I was happy to go with it. As it happen the Brighton match won easily and Wednesday game won by two.

You have to accept that there will be losing bets (same as AA losing at poker) but long term, it will be profits.

I have only been posting on here for a short while but because my betting is largely statistics based then it is more profitable in the second half of the season when there is "more form in the book." In four of the last five seasons, January has been my most profitable month and over 80% of my total season profit has come from January to March in each season.

I will do pre-season bets which have beem prositable for me but that is more based upon my overall knowledge than statistics.. My divisional bets for this season will show a profit - Bristol City are nearly home, Norwich have a fighting chance but Bury will come up short although the each way element of the bets should see a profit.

I have found "Top Six" (Top Seven in L2) betting to be profitable by picking teams with a good track record of being in contention and putting them in multiple bets. Last season I had multiples with Derby (Won), Reading (Lost), Brentford (WON), Preston (WON), Fleetwood (WON) & Chesterfield (WON).

This season, I am on Norwich, Derby, Bristol City, Preson, Bury & Burton so looking pretty good.

As you can tell, I am not too speculative and like to bet big on bets close to evens. I have big bets on Forest to finish in top half (8/11 with SKY), Reading to finish in bottom half (11/10) & Brighton to finish bottom half (Evens). Forest probably need one more win. I thought the price was excellent pre season when other firms were only offering 8/13 or 4/7.

I do bet on other sports (Tennis, Golf, Snooker, Cricket) but bet far more on football because I believe I can win.

    Football League Bets

With nine winning bets from our last eleven, it is a shame the football league season is coming to an end.

    Four bets this weekend.

    Cardiff v Millwall

Really fancy this for low corners. Bet365 have dropped the line to 10 Corners but still think this is a profitable bet. This bet would have won ten times & lost twice in City's last 15 home matches. The Lions are not a perfect match but this bet would have won seven times & lost three times in their last 11 away matches.

Bet Two Points on Under 10 Corners (DNB) at 1.90 (Bet365)

    Crewe v Walsall

This should be a low scoring match. 13 of the Alex's last 15 at home have failed to reach 2.5 goals while 10 of the Saddlers' last 12 away have fallen short of this line.

Bet Four Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.74 (Betfair)

    Carlisle v Plymouth

This should be a low corners match based on Argyle's away record of 14 of the last 16 away being under 10.5 corners. Carlisle are a reasonable match up with four of their last six at home failing to reach this line. The two overs were against Dagenham & Portsmouth, who are high corner sides.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.925 (Bet365)

    Morecambe v Burton

This looks a great low corner match but Bet365 have gone for 9.5 corners as the line. This is still a bet but only a small one. This would have won 13 out of Burton's last 18 on the road and three of Morecambe's last four at home.

Bet Two Points on Under 9.5 Corners at 1.975 (Bet365)

    Correct Score Bets

    Blackpool v Fulham 0-1 1-1
    MK Dons v Leyton O 1-0 2-0
    Newport v Dagenham 1-0 0-1
    Portsmouth v Bury 0-1 0-2

    Good Luck!

    Football League Bets

Two small marginal bets for tonight

    Blackburn v Millwall

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners @ 1.95 (Bet365)

    Rochdale v Leyton O

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners @ 1.80 (Bet365)

Fancied Under 2.5 Goals on Bury v Southend but the odds are prohibitive. You may fancy combinations of 0-0 1-0 0-1 & 2-0.

    Good Luck!

Two out of two winners again taking to 13 winners out of 17 since Easter.

Also the Bury v Southend match finished 0-1 which was available at 10/1 so added to potential winnings.

Our good run continued in midweek with two winning bets out of two taking our run since Easter to 13 winning bets out of 17.
Six decent bets for this weekend. Nothing great so just small bets.

    Sheff Wed v Leeds
This should be a low corner match. Eight of Wednesday's last nine at home have failed to reach 10.5 Corners while all of Leeds' last five away have failed to reach this line.
Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.825 (Bet365)

    Bournemouth v Bolton (Mon)
This one should be high corners. Bet365 have set the line at 11 Corners. This would have won five times and lost once in the Cherries' last 11 home matches and won six times and lost twice in the Trotters' last 11 away matches.
Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.80 (Bet365)

    Bradford V Barnsley
This should be low corners. All of City's last seven home matches have failed to reach 10.5 Corners at an average of 7.57 per match. Five of the Tykes' last eight have failed to reach this line. As a bonus, Bet365 give us our money back on 11 Corners.
Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.80 (Bet365)

    Walsall v Oldham
Walsall have been a cash cow for us all season with their low corners and Oldham match up reasonably well. 17 of 21 Walsall home matches have failed to reach 10.5 Corners while 10 of Oldham's last 13 on the road have fallen short of this line.
Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.975

    Southend v Luton
We have made more money on Southend than any other side this season & we go to the well for a final time.
Firstly this should be a low scoring match. 1-0 & 2-0 look like good bets to me. 20 of Southend's 22 home matches have failed to reach 2.5 Goals. Luton match up reasonably well with 17 of their 22 away matched dropping short.
Bet Two Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.83 (Betfair)

There should also be plenty of corners. Bet365 have set their line at 11 Corners. This would have won ten times & lost once in Southend's last eleven home matches and would have won four times & lost twice in Luton's last seven away matches.
Bet Two Points on Over 11 Corners at 1.825 (Bet365)

    Correct Score Bets

    Rotherham v Norwich 1-2 1-3
    Plymouth v Tranmere 1-0 1-1

Four winners out of six this weekend was confirmed last night as Bournemouth racked up the corners at home, as usual.

The season finishes next weekend but there is enough money in the wallet to pay for a couple of holidays in the sun.

There may be opportunities to add a few more pounds yet.

    Football League Bets

Four winners out of six last weekend. Just four bets this week.

    Blackpool v Huddersfield

This should be a low corners match. Four of Pool's last five at home have failed to reach 10.5 corners as have four of Town's last five away matches.

Bet Two Points on Under 11 Corners (DNB) at 1.90 (Bet365)

    Crewe v Bradford

This should be a low scoring match. 14 of the Alex's last 16 at home have failed to reach 2.5 Goals while ten of City's last 13 away matches have fallen short of this line.

Bet Four Points on Under 2.5 Goals at 1.81 (Betfair)

    Wimbledon v Cheltenham

This should be low corners. Six of the Dons' last nine home matches have failed to reach 10.5 corners at an average of 8.55. Six of Cheltenham's last seven away matches dropped short of this line.

Bet Two Points on Under 10.5 Corners at 1.85 (Bet365)

    Luton v Stevenage

This should be high corners but Bet365 have adjusted their line to 12, making it more of a borderline bet. At this line, five of Town's last six home matches would have won this bet as would nine of Borough's last 19 away with seven losers.

Bet Two Points on Over 12 Corners (DNB) at 1.85 (bet365)

Just a word of warning that strange things often happen on the final weekend of the season.

    Correct Score Bets

    Derby v Reading 2-1 3-1
    Norwich v Fulham 1-0 2-0
    Crawley v Coventry 0-0 0-1
    Morecambe v Southend 0-1 0-2
    Shrewsbury v Plymouth 1-0 2-0
    Tranmere v Bury 0-1 0-2

    Good Luck!

    THREE WINNERS OUT OF THREE!

The match at Blackpool was void.

20 winning bets from our last 26 means that followers of Tiger's Tips will be hundreds or thousands in profit depending on stakes.

We also got the correct score at Tranmere.
