578 is the number after 6 levels

now on a 20 minute break

    late reg finishes then

    605 the magic number

think there is a split dinner break coming, the logistics of timing the run for the front of the queue with 600 people in the building will take some planning

Got above starting stack for about ten minutes. I liked it, made a really good fold that kept me and then got KK vs AA the next hand.

     Ryan Spittles @RyanSpittles ·  7m 7 minutes ago

Well I've paid for 200k of chips and currently have 140k. Getting there

i take the opportunity to play along with tikay, and you can too... Jonathon Wroe raises on the button to 800 at 200-400 tikay on the button lets me peek at  Qs Qh my excitement is palpable He might not fold He raises to 2,125 in the big blind Keith Christie flats, and Wroe folds the flop comes  3h Ahrt 9c "i will check to the aggressor" says Christie (player notes need updating) so you are tikay...check or bet?

have i missed it i would say tikay checked what did he do

Ryan Spittles spun up his 4th bullet from 50,000 starting to 200,000 then lost a big pot, top set versus turned top set

apparently a little tilted he then 3 bet over a Trevor Reardon cut off raise

    Reardon 3,200

Spittles 10,000 slall blind with Ace-six off

    Reardon tank calls

    9-8-2 two clubs

    Spittles 10,000

    Reardon tank calls

An offsuit three on the turn

    Spittles jams 58,000

Reardon calls a few minutes later with 9-7dd

    river ten of clubs

4th entry GG. Bluff gone wrong. Got pretty hero called but still a nice call!

    45,000 = real

    85,000 = his imagination

just before his dinner break he bet K-Q-7cc with Q-5dd and won the pot

he must have had a brain transplant, betting middle pair on a flushing baord?

That rather grumpy looking chap to The Ambassadors left is Mattprawn.  Said Prawn is currently back at the hotel licking his wounds! Great day nonetheless, maybe next year.  And hey, I've still got the sky poker hoodie!

Unlucky Matt - would have loved to have met you.  Enjoy your hoodie though - I haven't got one yet and might have missed out as arrived here late.

i spent a bit of time watching tikay's table, he has moved opposite john duthie who is showing the worryingly talented ability to name tikay's hand before he shows it at every showdown

Quite discombobulating for the old man

    Duthie opened to 3200

    One caller

    tikay three bet to 12,000

outside, this is the signal for birds to return north from their winter down south. a tikay three bet is a sign of warmer times ahead

    call

    call

    maximum respect

    J-4-3

    All check

    2

    all check

Power poker from the 3 bettor

    K river

duthie checks, the third player bets 22,000

    both fold

"ace queen, you have ace queen" duthie postulates across the table to tikay

    tikay shows...ace-queen

    --
    same orbit

tiikay raises and the player to his immediate left calls

    5-10-3

    check check

    6

    tikay bets 18,600

long think, lots of chatter from both, fold

    tikay can't resist and shows...j-10dd

which of course i had written dpown on my notepad (possibly)

    interesting...

    Neil Strike

"Never thought I'd ever be saying this but just folded KK pre. I'm 1st to act at 8/1600 and I've 66k. I limp, there's a raise to 4.5k, folded to me. I re-raise to 11k, villain pops it to 29k... I let go"
