Hey guys.... YES, there is a live show tonight, fear not my poker friends! Myself and Ryan Spittles will be here at the usual time 7pm - midnight for the penultimate show on 861!

So we will be covering tonight's Turbo Open, the Super Roller final table from Sunday night, the Viva Las Vegas 10K Quarter Final from 9:15pm tonight, and we'll be on Sky Sports 4 from 10pm for a mix of cash and we'll bring the Turbo Open to conclusion on the show too!

So we want to give away loads of prizes tonight - 3 seats to Thursday's Main Event - the £33 Bounty Hunter, so make sure you get in touch by the usual means, here on the forum or:

email: skyopen@bskyb.com
tweet: #skypokertv
follow @skypoker

Send your hand ID's there for any hand requests for cash and you may see yourhand on Sky Sports tonight!! We also want your TIPS FOR VEGAS and if you satellited in to the WSOP event, WHO WOULD YOU WANT ON YOUR STARTING TABLE? ...... If you've been before, if you're heading there this year, send us in your tips on how to survive the poker tables in Vegas!!

See you all at 7pm at the usual place...let's make this a good one!

Jules & Ry Ry xxx

Tips for Vegas- It's an expensive place to go. Cost me half my net worth when I went there. I suppose getting hitched to my (still)lovely Wife was ample recompence. In short, go gambling, it's cheaper!!!!

    Tips for Vegas

    1) Stay on the Strip. You are nearer the action plus, it's safer

    2) Have every third day planned for a non-poker activity, keeps your head clear

    3) Try different card rooms

    4) Take in several shows. If you watch the early show, it doesn't affect your poker

    5) If you want a tan & to play poker, sleep in the sun but be careful. Use sunscreen & turn over every 30 minutes

    6) Take time to play poker Downtown - it's fun & the games are softer

    7) Play cash, it's easy money

    8) Ask Ryan, he knows more than most

    Have a Great Show Guys!!!

but Don don't you read the forum
so many posters say it is harder to play against fish
and they'd rather play against players who know what they are doing
on that basis i have to choose last years November nine for my table

well at least i might learn something before my eventual demise

I have been lucky enough to satellite in to 4 wsop mains, and the difference in the standard of tables is staggering. Agree re qualifiers, with 1 exception:-I once had an 80-yr-old grandma who had only ever played with friends before, who had bought in. Her attitude was that she would dine out for years on this, and asked me to name another world championship you could just buy into!

Best tip-arrive in the US in plenty of time to get acclimatised-one year I was penalised for snoring at the table!

It is an awesome experience-who wouldn't want to play in a $50 million tournament!

if on the FT #13 inconsistent and difficult to read
if an initial table full of niners #1 super tight ABC

edit: although last time i played geldmode #13 against the plo8 hilo dymers here i got totally destroyed. So maybe #9 would be safer and more appropriate for the November nines

    Guys,

Can you post any questions about the transition to Sky Poker TV on the thread,
    HERE

We want to keep all the talk of the transition in one thread, so everyone can see it all.

Also, Jules & Sowa have enough on their plate with tonight's Live Show, so they won't be fielding questions on the topic.

    Thanks.

Jules you have not been on the show much lately and sorely missed. I suggest you ask Ryan who is on the show a lot just how many cream cakes you have to bribe with.

hi all have a great show (great show guys keep it up)

if i had the chance to share the table with anyone it would be mr orford, winning an MTT needs chips, earning chips requires loose calls, who better to make those loose calls that the man himself mr orford calling with the famous orford straights 8765.

Hi, for the penultiate time (sad face),

I would definatley have to have Daniel Negranu on my table. A legend and someone who always like to enjoy life and have fun so even if your card dead you always know you will be entertained.

And Ryan, as much as I like watching you on the show, I am a bit worried for you as surely sleeping on that couch can't be good for you! I mean, how many shows on the trot have you been on? I hope Sky arn't charging you rent!

    Have a great show!

    question for ry ry.

recent days, the cash tables have had a very loose aggression, maniac style gamee specially post flop.
what advice would you give on playing hands like AK against maniacs?

    Hey Jules and Ry Ry

Making the most of every second of tonights show :-)

Wanted to say thank you for being great sports, been great chatting to you on the shows and sharing my new founded journey of fatherhood and late night showers with you both :-)

My Poker tip would be to go have fun! Plan to play a selection of events but leave time to explore the city if the poker does not go great.

Hoping to have a nice deep run this evening and get a hand or two shown in the late stages and of course, get to the 3rd break and take my superstitiousshower hahaha

    Love you guys!

    Matt
