Does anyone think the 8 seconds to act is to short?

The more time you take, the more time you second guess yourself. Your gut feeling is usually right and time banks are frustratingly overused on other sites in bubble situations. I think if logan jh uses all the available time before the street is played ( ie not just betting top pair after 2 or 3 seconds without thinking ) his decisions will be clearer cut. Tournaments are not a sprint so expect tough decisions less often.

Yes Tikay was right, as always, it is 15 seconds in a non turbo DYM, but I can add the second and final reminder beep comes on 11 secs. So if you're mass multi tabling and going to a table on the second beep you've got 3 secs left in a turbo and 4 otherwise! (Pos some exceptions though like a Deepstack MTT where it seems you get longer still.)

The time bank is always more scary than it looks.....

Provoking us into making a decision - sometimes we insta click and make the right decision...sometimes we insta click and think arrrrrrggggh I shoulda thought about it longer.

PC's are invariable in their ability to display the same timebank, due to differences in internet & pc specification.......whilst some of us will invariably see the full timebank....some of us on the other hand, due to internet speed & pc specification will not.

I don't doubt the OP only sees 8 secs of timebank, due to delays in speed & pc specification - to get the most out of your timebank always ensure you have the best available internet speed in your area & a PC specification which is capable of high end gaming.
